When choosing a Detour, you’re always better off building something when all of the pieces are already there vs. having to hunt down the right pieces. Morgan and Lena managed to avoid elimination despite changing Detours to the puppets.
those last three teams were a few minutes apart. i think the teams thought they had to learn a complicated performance after making the puppets instead of just dangling them off the stage. I would have chosen picture as well but the puppets were much faster.

Was absolutely thrilled my team (almost by default) ended up winning the first two legs. I thought maybe I'd lucked out. Sadly, not so much. Oh well, still really digging these 90 min episodes.

yes, in early and also later seasons, some teams would try crazy tight flight connections and if they missed their connection, they would be stuck in a different country and Phil would have to eliminate them. There have also been teams who could not complete a needle in the haystack challenge and were eliminated. I think the most famous one

was the soccer siblings who spent over 8 hours looking through haystacks.

In season 2, the gutsy grannies overslept their pit stop and also missed their flight connection and were eliminated I think they were a day behind the other teams.

They held in there longer than I figured that they would, so I'm not unduly disappointed.

Glad they’re calling my team the mustachios apparently after realizing that “beards” was not accurate. These guys have a tendency to screw up something every episode so I don’t have high hopes. :lol: It’s probably between Greg and John and Todd and Ashlie at this point, with Rob and Corey as dark horses.

i thought it was fairly obvious they didnt get on the same train as the other teams and were pretty far behind. So unless Steve dropped dead from a heart attack which is still possible, Todd and Ashlie were going home
