Best part is it seems like a true continuation of the previous show, rather than a Bosch show with cameos like last season felt.

The J. Edgar scene was so weird.

I am looking more forward to it since I know Maddy should have very little screen time

Maybe when they finally find her, Rick will shoot her again.

https://www.boschlegacyfanscreening.com/synopsis/

Amazon is doing a theatrical screening of episodes 1 and 2 of the new season on October 18th. Looks like this is a Regal and Cinemark event.

Tickets are $10.

You can check the link if you're interested in attending.

FYI the thumbnail for Ep4 is a spoiler. Not one that you couldn't figure out but still obnoxious

Weird as shit. They recast the bad guy from end of last season.

Crate and Barrel!

Knocked all 4 out today. Wow, it's moving fast. Shocked at how fast, since we're on like the third thread already.

Re: Bosch: Legacy (Freevee) - Season 2 Thread - premieres 10/20/23

Watch both new eps last night… they’re moving at a pretty good clip.

Maddie’s Victim Statement was powerful (if not a tiny bit preachy) and was delivered well, but when she grits her teeth and tries to look tough, I Google a bit.

Those “Bad Cops” are douches.

… and you would think Mo would be smarter than that, that girl is playing him and it’s obvious.

Re: Bosch: Legacy (Freevee) - Season 2 Thread - premieres 10/20/23

I know 6 episodes are now out. But, I finally got to the 1st 2 episodes late last night.

Good and entertaining wrap up to the Maddie cliffhanger.

But, I was a little confused about Dockweiler and I didn't realize a different actor was playing him. Will Chase played him in season 1 and they got Dave Denman.

I know some were complaining about the pending commercials coming to Prime video unless you pay more. But, the commercials on Bosch Legacy aren't that bad. Not as bad as other ad supported services like Crackle or Pluto TV.

A few nit picks about the episodes.

Harry using Maddie's ID to get into the station to confront Dockweiler would be a huge Red Flag. I'm surprised no one caught it. And only J. Edgar just happened to stop him.

and the stupid cop who took Harry's call about delivering Dockweiler to that room didn't even ask for a badge number?

Damn, that's way earlier than the night time drops.

It's not the final episodes though. There are 10 in the season.

Cool. The way they have E8 captioned made it seem like it was only 8 episodes.

Thank you for clearing that up. I used to live in LA and I love how the original series used location.

Did you actually mean to quite the Dockweiler casting change?

So the two crooked cops bump Bosch and Mo off a cliff, which has them roll the car down the hill no more than 30 yards - and they just assumed that would kill them? Really?

And unlike Bosch, Mo is hooked up to an IV and won't be released from the hospital yet because he has a concussion. Bosch was knocked out as well - how is that also not a concussion?

I suppose it's possible that two bad people try to ram two other cops off a cliff...but then I thought...these are fucking rogue cops...they would know how to take out their peers or at least seriously injure them in a far better way. For the most part I like Bosch scripts, but they toss in some rather de-fizzled scenarios that make me do a double-take.

There needs to be a final series with Bosch finally being taken out at the last episode of the series, then his daughter--in her own series--who investigates his mysterious death...kinda like Goliath-style. Series could go as long as it wants, depending on the intelligence of the writers. Call the series, Madison.

I'm not sure there'd be much interest in a series based around Maddie Bosch - but if they were going to do that, they really need to recast the role. The actress who plays Maddie isn't a very good actor and half the time she looks like she's trying to hold back a fart. Plus she looks like anyone could break her in half - which makes it hard to believe she can take care of herself in dangerous situations.

Should be Madeline. Madison is the actress' name.

I like the character and the actress (probably because she reminds me a lot of a very good friend), but I can't disagree with you here.
