Watched the first episode, very different with the band as the main focus but they're doing work to build up their personalities. Janice is a vegan, Floyd is a shutterbug, that kind of stuff.

Though I never thought we'd get jokes about naked Muppets in the hot tub, but we'll keep watching.

Janice slips in naked jokes in both Great Muppet Caper and Muppets Take Manhattan 😅. In both of them it’s a bunch of muppets taking at once and kermit tells them to STFU and they all do except Janice who says the joke.

Believe the Caper one is “So I said look mother if i wanna take off my clothes and walk around a beach naked i’m going to take off my clothes and walk around a beach naked” 🤣

Dont want to hear the line but is it the same setup?

No, the gag is one of the band members has a sort of compulsion that if they see a hot tub they have to get in. And they don't own a swimsuit apparently.

Ah damn. I always get a huge kick out of any callbacks to the first three films.

There was a song they played that made me get a little dust in my eye because I listened to it on my records as a kid so many times.

Yeah, watched the first few but wasn’t a high priority. Guess I should watch the rest now before they remove it.

Also, we all thought it was great. Very entertaining and had some great cameos. And my girls and I are still saying "fer sure" even though we watched this months ago.

For those who dropped off I’d suggest finishing it. it got steadily better throughout the season IMO. Wouldn’t put it in the top tier of Muppet programming (first three films, original show, The Muppets, last two films) but just slightly below it.

It even got me to finally accept Lips as a member of the band.
