The early Tom Hanks cameo kind of spoiled the David S. Pumpkins comeback, but it was still pretty funny. IDK why I love that sketch so much

I have zero interest in Jack Harlow's music, but he did very well in the sketches I thought. He seemed very natural and into what he was doing. Sadly, not much of it was particularly funny due to the writing, but that's not his fault.

When someone's asking who the host is - it's a rhetorical question.
We know we can google who Jack Harlow is. The point is we'd actually have to google him to find out who the SNL host actually is.

Not a good episode at all. But as usual, the guest wasn't the problem. Harlow did alright - except for his music (not my thing).

I liked the 2024 election horror movie trailer though.

Not only was David S Pumpkins just a repeat of the original, but everyone watching it online already knows that he's showing up. I think that if it wasn't Tom Hanks, people would not have the patience to give it the time of day.

Good to see Drunk Uncle return. Hard to believe he missed almost the entire Trump presidency.

It was comforting to see Cecily Strong back and one of the last or few remaining early to mid 2010's cast member still on the show.

It had some laughs here and there so it was not all that bad.

I'm probably older than the average viewer and don't listen to current music other than Sirius Alt Nation, so I frequently Google the musical guests on SNL prior to the show. And actually sample their music. Which is why I fast forward most of them.
