Is the one guy supposed to be Klaus Nomi?

Nomi did perform in the underground NY scene, but he was also German and this guy has no accent.

This show is making me uncomfortable in a way that's hard to describe. I feel like it is airing our dirtiest gay secrets in a way that is not really going to be a net positive for the gay community. Does the general public really need to know about the hanky code, flogging, and underground sex parties? I'm not really sure. I don't know ... it's making it hard for me to enjoy it, I keep thinking "They let straight people watch this?"

I like how the killer looks like Dwight from The Office.

This seems like and unusual AHS, but I'm completely engaged with the story. I love how the show looks, seems more visual even though more expensive shows.

I was introduced to the hanky code in Cruising from 1981, so it's been out there for awhile.

Likely unrelated, but one time I was at the library, and this guy dropped a bright red hankie. I picked it up and tried handing it back to him, and he just shook his head and said, "No, that's not my hankie."

Intense episode.

During the first half, as soon as Sandra Bernhard started laying out the Tarot cards, I thought about the Father Ted episode where he keeps getting Death card after Death card, until the woman says, "That's odd, there's only supposed to be one in the deck", and laughed so hard when the scene played out the same way.
