Jack Ryan (Amazon) - Season 3 Thread - premieres 12/21/22
Finally a Jack Ryan update:

Current status: Following a January 2020 showrunner switch plus, of course, COVID-related delays, production on Season 3 began in May 2021 and was completed that fall.
UPDATE: Season 3 will arrive in the “back half” of 2022; Season 4 was already ordered, in October 2021.

3 years between seasons seems a bit ridiculous. It’s crazy to think when I finished up season 2 COVID wasn’t even a thing yet.

Still no air date yet for season 3. A spin-off with Michael Peña is in the works.

The last season was released October 31st, 2019. It it was be almost 3 years and 2 months since the last season.
I know probably most of you didn't really miss this show as so much stuff has been released during that time frame to keep us busy.
Since they finished shooting the final season, I hope they will release it in 2023 to wrap this show up without another long hiatus.
And I hope we see Cathy Mueller aka Ryan this upcoming season.

Season 2 was pretty weak, but I liked season 1 a fair bit so I'm hoping it will be back to form.

I’m sure we’ll watch, but that looks…predictable and disappointing? Season 1 was great because it was fish out of water and Jack trying to figure out the puzzle. Season 2 ended up with Jack being civilian Marine. That trailer makes it look more like season 2.
I get he has military experience, but isn’t he supposed to have war injuries that had him dismissed from the service? I get he’s not handicap, but seems like he’s not supposed to be Jason Bourne either.
