Reviews starting to hit. Seems like the first 2 episodes are excellent from the reviews I have seen. Thoughts are it is a return to previous seasons. The first two episodes also tie into each other heavily, apparently.

I liked it but it was definitely a setup for the whole season with Rick Prime. It was good to see their original universes again, too.

I thought the open was the best part. The feral Mortys killing each other and Rick saying some problems solve themselves :lol:

I don’t even know what is going on with this show anymore, it’s gone so much up its own ass with the continuity that I find it hard to care any more. The endless Ricks and Mortys are wearing me out, think this is the season I bail.

Hulu/HBO Max didn't get S5 until about 5 months after the season ended. I would assume the same for S6.

I just purchase the season in advance thru iTunes. I get the episodes the next morning... which is fine as I'm not awake at 11p when it airs on Adult Swim.

They post to the Adult Swim website after a week. I believe they only show three rotating at a time. After the season is over, they'll turn on/off different episodes at different times. And for some reason, the media player itself kind of sucks.

Yea I watch a lot of Rick and Morty.

I also don't mind just paying Amazon $30 for the season and you get new episodes Sunday nights at midnight.

I thought I was watching it the day after it aired, but now I see what happened. Amazon dropped the price after episode 4, and I bought it there last season.

I loved the Summer part of the episode :lol:

The main story just seemed like a twist on the Citadel with the multiple Mortys.

I've decided I'm done with Rick and Morty. Not a threadcrap I hope, I just realized it's not for me. Episodes had a tendency to pile up on my DVR and I watched more out of duty (or need to clear DVR space) than interest. I like edgy cartoons, I like brainy science-y stuff, a friend of mine called it the "heir to Futurama", but I just never connected. Too many times we jump into an episode mid-situation, that is rapidly overly explained by Rick. And one thing I finally realized after this past episode when everybody was Morty, is just how much I hate Morty's voice.

The Cloud Strife character trying to lift that sword and Jerry turning into a pill bug. Saying what they were thankful for. So amazing. :lol:

That was the best episode of the series since The Vat of Acid episode.

Loved the scene where they cut to Rick and the kids at the table while Jerry and the 2 Beths are in the bedroom:lol:
