Hmm...split season suggests that maybe that will be it for Yellowstone.

Paramount has to be punching themselves for giving away the streaming rights to Peacock.

Power has a price. What are the Duttons willing to pay? The official Yellowstone season 5 trailer is here. Don’t miss the special two-hour premiere event, Sunday Nov. 13 only on Paramount Network.

Congrats to the writers on figuring out how to destroy Monica even more.

They should just have Kayce and her move away, the writers don’t know what to do with them.

It cracked me up how Perry gets elected a senator and is still hanging around like one of John’s staff.

Re: Yellowstone (Paramount) - Season 5 - premieres 11/13/22

Wow, a lot to digest. That was a really long 2 hours and 28 minutes with commercials. I enjoyed the premiere. I loved how John hates being a politician and really had no idea what on his agenda was important. He seems to want to try to do this job like he's a rancher.

The two flashbacks were weird. The Beth flashback when she was a teen didn't really add anything and that was a strange place to throw that John flashback with Josh Lucas playing him again. I did  when he sprayed the stuff that was killing his cattle on that guy.

Kayce and Monica do need to be written out. They really don't fit into the current climate with the main characters. Now that Monica lost her baby, she's going to be depressed and mopey. I don't see how see and Kayce really fit in.

Beth is Beth. Jaime is still her little bitch. She dresses sexy, basically acts like a tease and then tells flirters to fuck off. Rip married a quality girl there.

There's more to talk about, but these threads are really only meant for short and concise thoughts, so I'll keep it short.

Lots of shit to watch tonight, this, Tulsa King, White Lotus and football. I know this forum doesn't get enough traffic to get discussion on all this content. So not surprised things are quiet tonight.

A lot of bad shit happened to the Duttons tonight as they assumed power. I hope that's karma and will be explored further. Cause the core of them are still assholes. Beth is still the worst character on TV.

The fact she did not just wait for the ambulance was ridiculous.

At least they didn’t waste our time with the campaign

Disagree. I love her. I love how bad and mean she is. Its such an entertaining character. Kelly Reilly is doing a great job playing her. You must not be a soap fan. Beth is an atypical soap opera evil and selfish seductress.

I can’t stand hearing Beth say, “Daddy.”

Which sucks for someone like me who has never seen the show but wants to. So now to see this and 1883 I need to get two more streaming services? I’m not willing to do that right now.

Of course Monica didn’t let her son drive.

sure.

this show is unnecessarily dumb.

She's a cartoon at this point. And I get she hates Jamie but she treats him like shit and then wonders why he constantly turns on the family.

Her father-in-law owns a helicopter.

Beth is pure comedy - a cartoon character.

Yep. The second you saw her driving, you knew what was coming.

Been binging other seasons and cannot figure out what value this series has other than being a guilty pleasure throw back to stuff like Dynasty and Dallas.

Yeah, Dallas was the first thing that came to my mind when I started watching this show.

It is often compared to the Sopranos but I rooted for those characters. I can't say the same for most of the Dutton's. But I'm still watching

I'm rooting for the Duttons to lose. Hope the ranch burns to the ground and get's paved over as airport parking lot. Rip and Beth get gunned down by Feds like Bonnie and Clyde.

Re: Yellowstone (Paramount) - Season 5 - premieres 11/13/22

It's easy to pull for them when the alternative is a bunch of out of state assholes who just want to ruin the land with more buildings and development.

Sheridan continues to knock it out of the park with the soundtrack. First episode of the season and we get Shane Smith, Robert Earl Keen, Dolly, Zach Bryan, and Hayes Carll....and we get Lainey Wilson's acting debut.
