It's not like they are the last building on a block to sell and a wrecking ball is swinging around.
They are the rich assholes too. And the show has touched on that some, but not enough.

Only Beth can try to kill a chic and then play the victim

Beth is sort of fun in a campy way. Would be a horrible person to know in real life though. Rip on the other hand is a psychopath that needs to die a horrible death. Sheridan clearly hates Monica. I was surprised she lived to be honest. I enjoy the show but at the end of the day everyone is just so stupid.

Exactly. The problem I have is I think Sheridan actually feels that the Dutton's and by extension/inclusion Rip's behavior is acceptable by his own real world morals. Clearly he would not do the things they do in real life but I think he sort of views it as the Cowboy Way and is moral and correct. So it is difficult to continue the Monica corruption because he really does not view it as such.

How did no one in the family know Jamie had a kid?
That was a nice scene with John and Monica. The first time in awhile John has appeared human.
The Beth and Summer reunion in the kitchen

Sheridan has gone off the rails with Beth. Her outlandish behavior has gotten so predictable everyone knew she was about to wail on Jamie in the car. It would have been more interesting if she had broken out into tears during that scene.

Caught up with the last 2 episodes.
The bar fight was awesome and I
how Jamie screwed over that girl.
It's interesting that Sheridan cast Dawn Olivieri, who was in 1883 as John's great great aunt, and now she's some mysterious seductress here. I know she has some kind of ulterior motive. She didn't bang Jamie because he's such a charming man.
I also really liked John talking to Monica. John's not as awful and evil as he's shown a lot lately. He can show that he has some humanity. I do like his scenes with Lynelle. They do have good chemistry and she helps lighten him up.
Can't wait for more with Beth and Summer

John not even reacting to that description: " Well she is not there a lot"
That was awesome. John/Monica scene was really strong.
Sorry not a cowboy. Felt bad for the cows.

This show is still fun as hell to watch but John firing every single person on his staff and canceling every single meeting is pretty stupid. I get he has a single agenda... but come on.

I thought it was bullshit, but what she said to Beth is legally verbal assault. Teasing, egging somebody on. She would have gotten bail and allowed to leave state. Unless local judge and lawyer were corrupt also. Bail would have been higher and may have had to post cash instead of bond. The idea is to make not returning to state for court financially punitive.
Probably would have plead guilty, payed a fine, and on her way (in real life).
Remember now, if you say to some guy in a bar, "Didn't know they allowed assholes in here", and he breaks bottle over your head, you're going to jail too because you assaulted him first.

Beth is quickly becoming the weakest link in the show. Her going crazy on Jamie while he was driving over the son was just too much. She dresses like a cheap hooker and has far too little self-control for me to see her as any kind of boss-bitch, that said I came across her talking in an interview and her British accent is lovely and miles removed from this character so she has to be a somewhat gifted to pull off this role.

For those who aren’t aware Piper Perabo’s husband is an EP and Director on the show. Likely the main reason why she got cast.
