I caught most of Thor: Ragnarok last week and loved Dumb Hulk. Give me more of that, please. WRT She-Hulk, I'll wait until you all watch it to determine if I'll binge it. It doesn't appeal to me at all.

Maslany was funny and played the character with a lot of verve and pep. definitely a more comical Marvel endeavor and i think it works.
Speaking of her origin, does this make her, and Bruce Banner for that matter, a mutant? Banner said something to the effect the gamma radiation was lethal to everyone but the very miniscule few with a certain type of dna, who would "hulk out" instead of dying after being exposed. Marvel used an explanation like that to say that Cloak and Dagger were mutants in Marvel Comics back in the late 1980's or early 1990's.

Tons of fun. Enjoyed it a lot and Professor Hulk is still my guy since the 90s.

I think Tatiana Maslany is the best actor on TV in the last 10 years. Her performance in Orphan Black is jaw-dropping.

So fun to see her back on TV, still being fantastic. Fun intro, good VFX and I can’t wait for more!

Hmmm, I liked it!

CGI was bad, but breaking the 4th wall and adult humor had me laughing.

I’m glad they featured She-Hulk right away. No waiting till end of one or two episodes for it.

I also liked the water color courtroom style animation during the credits.

C+ grade. Needs improvement, but good start.

I loved it. It was a lot of fun. Tatiana Maslany was great, and the whole setup where she's trying to keep working as a lawyer despite being the She Hulk is great. That and the fourth wall breaking is right out of the comics. Loved that. The, "Savage," She Hulk was there for a minute, a nod to the original series before Byrne reworked it.

I wanted more. Can't wait for the next episode!

Surprised how much I enjoyed it. Funny, entertaining. Though the VFX were fine as well. Not sure where it will be going because this episode was 80% flashback/origin. But Tatiana is so good and I will watch her in anything. Looking forward to next week.
My wife and son were both groaning that I was making them watch this, but they both ended up really liking it as well.

Yes, it was a from Sakaar, the planet ruled by The Grandmaster in Ragnarok.

The appearance of the ship (and Banner's line of having to check on that ) has fuelled speculation that it could set up World War Hulk, which would be awesome.

* * *

As for the ship showing up in this show, my issue with that (and probably my only quibble about this first episode), is that alien spacecraft can now just show up on Earth with seemingly no ramifications. I mean, sure, MAYBE they are all off camera but Hulk kind of shrugs it off with a "I'll look into that later" vibe. Granted, the situation was possibly dire if his cuz Hulked out like he used to sooooo....

Ok, maybe one more quibble: Titania (the character, not the actress) got her ass handed to her too early considering her arch nemesis position in the comics...but a minor quibble.

I LOVED THIS!! I really like the MCU comedy, I loved Thor: Love and Thunder, and Ragnarok and of course the Guardians. I still have to watch Ms. Marvel, I started but too much teen-angst to get me in 100%, but I hear it improves so need to start it again. Love they are going more adult with some language and topics.

I do think that's a natural side effect as the MCU expands. In the comics, alien ships showing up to destroy NYC are a weekly occurrence. It makes sense that would start to bleed into the movies too.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well looking back at the comics. I suppose once the Earth has been invaded a few times like it has in the MCU and the populace is now in a world of superheros, these occurrences are more normal.

Jameela Jamil Injured Her Asshole While Filming "She-Hulk"

Ahead of the release of her new Disney+ series, theactress sat down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about how intense it was to film her action scenes as the Marvel superhero's arch-nemesis, Titania, especially since she decided to do all of her own stunts — to some not-so-fun results."Oh, I did it all! I did it all," Jamil told the outlet, before adding that doing her own actions scenes "was something I've never done before, because I'm the ultimate couch potato. I am just a puddle with bangs." However, the star went on to reveal that she also ended up "hurting in places that I really didn't know exists" from all the strenuous physical activity. And the most surprising place she sustained an injury? Well, it turns out it was her sphincter.

"Like, you'll probably have to bleep this out, but I pulled a muscle in my asshole," she revealed. "I didn't know that was possible!"

Well that's a new one.

I think it was the courtroom scene at the end of Ep 1.

Only thing I really hated from this premiere episode was the villain's flying kick in the courtroom. It reminds me of Rip Torn doing that in MIB 2 and I hate that scene so much.
