You want to have a drink at a time like this?

The penultimate episode of the season. The last 2 months have gone by pretty fast. That's when you have a good season.

What the? I love how this show throws curve balls just when you think you know whats going on. That would've been a badass ending to the season. Glad we get another episode.

That was a hell of a penultimate episode. I wanted more. All the deaths, the reveal about Christina and that wild fight scene with Hale and Maeve. Bernard basically said they were fucked.

William was one cold blooded SOB in this one It looked like that William that was being held captive was probably an earlier host version and not the real one as I thought weeks before. Wasn't surprised that William whatever version took him out.

One hell of a season.

That was an awesome ride. It's great to see the show hitting it's mark again and back on top of the game. It is a shame they screwed the pooch so badly in season 3 that they seem to have lost a lot of eyes on the show. It's just fantastic and at this point, it is probably as good as season 1.

I loved the moment when Teddy and Delores walk thru the same door as Calebs' daughter is walking in the other way as them just before she reunites with him.

Also when Stubb's does not get shot and makes the head-bob acknowledging it at the subway scene was priceless.

Very cool episode. So many interesting scenes. I love the scenes at Hoover Dam. The Maeve and Charlotte fight was great. The fight in the subway station was so well choreographed, it was pretty spectacular — never seen anything quite like that. Don’t know where they go next, but looking forward to find out.

If this gets a 5th and final season, I hope we don't have to wait until 2024.

But, sadly I think that will be the case. The Nolans (Jonathan and Lisa Joy) are currently in production of Fallout, which is filming right now. So that's likely going to keep them busy the rest of 2022.

I’d be okay with that. I think this finale will feel pretty “final” and I can sit with it for a couple of years before one last wrap-up season.
As I said before, the lack of stakes is something I don’t like. Character deaths mean nothing on this show (except for Ford’s, which was more contractual than anything story-based). But after an episode like this one, I don’t mind. I wouldn’t want a version of this show with no more Maeve, Bernard or Charlotte anyway.
