Kel is a regular actor on the show (as are a few other All That alums) but Kenan is more a producer and isn't on camera (or around at all) as much. Maybe they have been in a skit together and I missed it.

The first and second parts of your first sentence contradict each other. But Dopesick won’t win in many of its nominated categories since it’s opposite The White Lotus, which the Emmys seem to love. It has already won 5 Emmys in the Limited Series Category and will be a favorite for many more next week. Fortunately for Dopesick and Keaton, it didn’t have any lead characters, so he’s got a great shot there (he already won a Golden Globe for the role).

Amazing fact I just read : If Steve Martin wins on Monday night, it will be his first Emmy win in 53 years. His last was as one of 10 writers on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
Sorry Bill Hader, but for this year, I'm rooting for another nominee.

So many repeat winners. And Better Call Saul is still totally winless.
At least Succession was a worthy winner.
Man the telecast was awful. So so unfunny. Poor Keenan was left without any funny material. My favorite part was the three Only Murders leads. They were still very funny (but unawarded natch).

For the third time in a row! I wouldn't have been happy if Sarah Snook had won for Succession, but at least she's really good, on a super popular show and hadn't won anything yet. Why literally anyone felt the need to reward Garner yet again for a rather one note performance as Ruth in a show that doesn't even win any other Emmys is totally baffling.
And it's not just that BCS went 0 for 6 last night, it has NEVER won a single Emmy award, excluding two that it won for online shorts. At least it gets one more try next year. Maybe they can pull a John Hamm and finally make amends after the series is long-over.

The only thing I cared about seeing was the brief reunion of Kenan and Kel. I wish they would full on do something together, whether that be a movie or special or something.

And oh yeah, with the other terrible selections, it was easy to miss this one. Ted Lasso won for Best Direction in a Television Comedy for just another episode in its unremarkable second season. It beat Bill Hader in one of the most spectacular episodes of TV I have ever seen, certainly in a "comedy".
