Rage leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering (through another episode of this show!)

I like to hop over to the TV Time app, and see what their users are saying about a show, rather then just here. 800+ comments on this episode alone, and most positive. Good to know I'm not the only one enjoying it

Excited to see how it wraps up this week.

The conversation between Vader and the Emperor about the son of Skywalker is the Emperor telling Vader that he knew what was going on and that he'd better be careful about it.
I believe that if you go back to the Padme's funeral scene in III, which they flashed back to here, they have made her corpse appear to still be pregnant, so the public would think she never gave birth before she died.

It's always been a huge logic hole that they dumped a kid named Skywalker back in the same place where Anakin Skywalker lived, so let's not dump the blame for that on this show.

How far is the Lars moisture farm from the slave quarters? I mean, it it akin to, say, somebody growing up in Sydney Australia and their step-parents relocating to Boise, Idaho?

I mean, Tatooine IS a planet. Just seems like we kinda' just spend time in one section of it.

Well, let's back up even further and examine why there are any humans living on Tattooine.

It's a desert planet where eking out an existence farming moisture and carving up giant animal carcasses passes for living. Apparently, since it's on the outer rim, it's a great place to run criminal enterprises, but if you are not a criminal or engaged in some enterprise that profits from the existence of the criminal activity, why would you live there?

And I'm not very knowledgeable about space economics, but places like Naboo and Alderaan exist. And whenever people really need or want to get to another planet, there are always transports and cargo ships going back and forth.

Skywalker is a very common surname in the Mos Espa White Pages. Like the name Nguyen is in the Ho Chi Minh City directory. But not a common name at all in other Tatooine cities like Anchorhead and Freetown, like Nguyen is uncommon in cities like Anchorage and Freeport.

I think its the same as here. Some people just grow up in poor places, and never leave. Plus they would not have to deal with the Senate/Empire, etc.

I like your train of thought, it actually finally gives a valid answer to that burning question.

Only thing I'd change is compare it as Anakin growing up in Darwin, Australia, but Luke growing up in Kandahar, Afghanistan.....both kind of rural outposts in desert-like regions...yet on opposite ends of the planet.

Except that according to Star Wars maps, everything from Mos Eisley to Mos Espa, Jabba's palace to the moisture farms, including Bestine, the Sarlacc pit, and Tosche Station are located within a 3000-square mile area.

Rhode Island doubled in size or Connecticut cut in half.

Hmmm, that makes me think there might be lush forests on the other side of the planet, but no one knows about it because they never leave this area.

This is going around Twitter, I think it helps give some more context in the grand saga of things.

Who knows, maybe the planets are all very small to begin with? That may help explain why most planets have one type of terrain and why things are close together. Pluto wouldn't have lost planetary status in their galaxy.

This is apparently an official map published by Lucasfilm:

Anakin grew up in Mos Espa, so it looks like the Lars farm is about 75 miles away from that (by Bantha).

The Grand Inquisitor mentioned several times about taking Reva in "from the gutter" and training her. IIRC, most of the Inquisitors are fallen Jedi or force-sensitives, so Reva's not unusual in that regard.

The droid was fitted with a restraining bolt by Reva, that she used to control it, and either had it report its location, or it had a tracker built-in. Leia removed the restraining bolt.

distance from point A to B could vary depending on mode of transportation; maybe banthas have to take certain bantha-friendly routes whereas speeders can potentially take a more direct path
