I'm calling it that from now on. I got a lot more entertainment out of saying "Tatoonie" out loud just now than I did from this entire episode, which really made absolutely no sense.
"Hey Lord Vader, I lured Obi-Wan here to our ocean citadel and was seconds away from torturing a ten-year-old girl to find out where 'The Path' was based out of, but Obi-Wan then rescued the girl and was allowed to leave because I put a tracker in her robot, so we know where 'The Path' is, but we really just want Obi-Wan even though we literally just had him in the building and let him go, so let's go destroy 'The Path' but we don't even care that much about him because Obi-Wan is the main target, and I secretly just want to assassinate you because I'm a conflicted villain or anti-hero who has no compunction about torturing children and murdering Uncle Owen in front of dozens of witnesses, depending upon your point of view, and what were talking about again?"
I want to like this show but it's just... frustratingly dumb at times.

"Executive Producer" is basically like an honorary doctorate. You're being recognized but the title has no power. They hand them out like Pez in Hollywood.

It was cool seeing Hayden Christensen as Anakin again

I never got the hate he got, every actor in those movies that wasn't Ewan McGregor or Sam Jackson was stilted as fuck. It's like Lucas was adamant about delivering every line as flatly as possible.

I love the prequel renaissance that has happened the last couple of years. The prequel kids are adults now and its their Star Wars, and the sequels had their ups and down.

I like this show. Don’t really get the hate. There are things about it that could be better but overall still very cool.
Loved the flashback sequence with Obi-Wan and Anakin. Very cool to see that play out throughout the episode.
I didn’t see the reveal about Reva coming but an interesting turn there. I don’t quite see how she survived being impaled by a lightsaber though.
Also seeing Vader in his prime is awesome. How he was able to pull the transport ship down and wreck it. My guess about why he didn’t get the other is he wore himself out trying to get the decoy and wasn’t immediately able to use that much power. The duel between him and Reva was short and more him toying with her but I liked it.
So it seems like things all circle back to Tatooine. I know some people don’t like that but I don’t mind it. Especially because it makes a lot of sense.

it's funny how Darth Vader used to be this recluse of a dictator, barely seen, always hidden away, shadowy figure that when we got a glimpse it was so thrilling and stirring and now we have seen more Vader then ever. but, at least he remains a bad ass.
correct me if i'm wrong, but episode 2 was the first time ever Obi-Wan became aware Anakin was alive and now Darth Vader, Sith lord? if that is the case, that's a pretty cool moment that i completely glossed over...

Fixed.
Incidentally seeing Prime Vader, Christensen returning as Anakin (really weirdly de-aged) and his scenes with Obi-Wan pre-Ep II, there are a lot of moments that hit the nostalgia sweet spot.
But that's kind of all they hit.
Organa's absolutely idiotic holo message, which was done FOR NO DISCERNABLY INTELLIGENT OR PRAGMATIC REASON WHATSOEVER.... why would he even THINK of mentioning Owen, Tatooine, and "the boy" in any capacity? Especially on recorded medium that can be viewed by ANYONE?
I enjoy the show for its simple fun, but this is some terrible writing and nonsensical character arcs.
It's still worlds better than Boba Fett though.

Part right, he knew he was Darth Vader, Sith Lord as he seen the recording back in movie, but he did not know he lived after their fight for sure.I mean gee you cut a mans arms and legs off leave him burning to crisp as you walk away you kinda assume that person is done for I'd guess. And yea it was the greatest moment in this series if you ask me. His realization that Anakin lived...

I'm pretty forgiving of Star Wars and I'm actually having a good time with this show, but the idea that Ben didn't know Anakin/Vader lived for 10 whole years is a stretch. I know he was keeping out of the way, working as a day laborer and arguing with Jawas, but we also see him in that little town and it's hard to imagine that at some point someone didn't have a TV on in a bar, watching the Star Wars equivalent of TMZ or such and see reports of some black garbed monster by the name of Darth Vader terrorizing planets. Imagine he learns that early on, and spends the next 8-9 years living with that knowledge, really having to make sure that he keeps his head down so Vader doesn't find out about him.
I would also say he should have felt him through the Force, but we do see that he's cut himself off from the Force so that part makes sense.

That was my first experience with the Mandela Effect.
I spent the first twenty years of my life thinking Luke's homeworld was called Tatoonie. Then, one day, I was reading something Star Wars releated, saw "Tatooine," and thought to myself Ha! They misspelled it!
Then I went back and learned it was always Tatooine...

20 years ago if you told me there was a Star Wars tv show and I wouldn’t want to watch it, I’d say you were crazy. Yet here we are. I stopped after episode three. I’ll still read the remaining threads to see what happened, but I just can’t get into this show.
