I'm predicting it now. This thread will be dead by no later than September 12th.
Everyone here who watches this show here will consume it in 1-2 days.
I'm really looking forward to it and I'm glad that Thomas Ian Griffith has carried over as the villain.

Watched the first two episodes. So far, so good. Wasn’t surprised at all about how the whole Miguel looking for his father plot turned out.
And they already mentioned about the past Karate Kid villain:
I can’t watch anymore until tomorrow night. Most likely I’ll probably finish the season late tomorrow.

Sony can't even splurge for a PS5? First season was a damn Vita, yikes.
The teen stuff is utter crap now. Straight from CW

I'm on Episode 6. Really enjoying this so far. Was great to see Jessica again, even if for only one episode. She still looks great.
Johnny and Chozen interacting is cracking me up...
JOHNNY: "Daniel tell you used to kick his ass in high school?"
CHOZEN: "I robbed him while he was on a date."
JOHNNY: "I threw him off a cliff."
CHOZEN: "I fought him to the death."
JOHNNY: "What are you? A ghost or something?"

One of the exec. producers is Will Smith and then saw Caleb Pinkett. Is this the Smith we all know and hate?
And Mike fucking Barnes!! Great stuff so far!!! Will try to finish all this weekend. Really great so far. Chozen is awesome.

Went through the entire season tonight. I have to say I enjoyed the addition of Chozen to this season more than anything. Tory also grew on me on the likability scale. I'd be perfectly ok if the show ended here, as I can't see where the next chapter will go. A little disappointed that Daniel won the fight with Silver so easily, but using Silver's own lessons against him was genius. Robyn Lively's appearance as Amanda's cousin was a nice surprise. Plus, she got revenge o that mean girl that stole her boyfriend back in '85.
All in all, another winning season from the show, but hard to decipher where they will go from here with Silver locked up and presumably going to prison. Kreese escaped prison at the end, but Martin Kove ain't getting any younger and seems like he can barely get around anymore. Such a great show.

Saw this all on Friday, great season. Awesome character interactions and great to see people from different movies real up or share stories.

BTW I’m just playing devil’s advocate here. It’s definitely not a tightly written plot.

One other thought on the escape, if I'm recalling an earlier scene correctly. When he was first denied release, he walked through the halls and approached the psychologist. After their conversation she went to the door, used her pass and went outside. This appeared to be the same door that Kreese left through. If he and the other prisoners already had free range of that part of the interior, he didn't need to fake his death/injury to get near the door in the first place. He could have just walked up to the door at his leisure, used the stolen pass, and left. No need at all to be wheeled in and fight with the doctors and guards in the first place. Also, pretty weak prison if there's only one door that prisoners have access to that would allow them to escape should they get through said door. No fenced in yard or secondary perimeter to stop someone should they penetrate the one building door.
