Sorry to everyone who had the ridiculous theory that Kim turned into Wendy.

Interesting seeing Mike and Kim together. What was that whole bicycling couple staying in Gus’ secret lair? Was it there house he took over to lookout for Lalo? And why was Tony Dalton (Lalo) in the credits but not in the episode?

Glad my speculation about the title was off. Jimmy with the spray tan and wig was funny stuff. "Spooge" is the guy that gets his head crushed by the ATM in Breaking Bad right? Good paying that off because Saul debunks that on the show saying that it used to be one of his clients and that Jesse didn't do it, the guy's wife did. More of a low key setup episode but still good stuff in this one. I weep for anyone that believed the dumb Kim becomes Wendy theory lol.
I'm starting to wonder how they wrap everything up with only 9 more episodes left total. There's a lot of ground to cover. But I trust these writers to make it happen.

It wasn't going to pack the punch of last week but it was a fun episode that kept me entertained every minute.
I like an intro that drops you into an unfamiliar environment then gradually reveals the situation. The bike ride and eventual destination at the house with armed guys in the kitchen while maintaining a nonchalant suburban attitude throughout was good.
Saul disguised as Howard and the parking sign slowly falling over was a brilliant touch. Also interesting to get a glimpse into Howard's troubled personal life with his therapist.
Loved the scene between Kim and Mike and her remembering him as the parking attendant. Saul meeting his clients at the nail salon was full of good stuff. His off screen line at the end "Hang a left by the washing machine" cracked me up.
Getting a scene with Wendy and Kim together, hard not to think this was a wink to the fans.
That slow stroll through Gus's underground secret passageway was James Bond level cool.

It looks like him, but it's a different actor who has been on the show before. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5425285

Not sure if the couple are in the game, well paid to keep their mouths shut, or are just off-shift employees who pose as the owners. There also must be a third entrance since all those people going in and out would arouse some suspicion.
I expected the bicycle couple to drive by Walt's house and wave at him as he was going to work. That's all the cameo I need from him.

I don't have anything set up to screen cap the show, but I loved the part where Kim asked Mike who he works for and there was a silhouette of a chicken in the background behind them.

Amazing that the second and third leads on this show had never had a scene together before. But this always was really two shows in parallel before. Now it's just one.
I was really struck by the courthouse scene. Seeing all Jimmy's charm and interpersonal skills no longer working as Saul is probably a bigger factor in his full transformation than I ever realized.

Let's be honest the Gus under the street tunnel was quite far fetched. I would not see Gus taking the risk on all that construction, dirt removal, and even running the risk that the highway department or town decide to do work or install drainage etc and this is exposed. When he built the underground lab this was done in industrial areas and under a laundry facility.
Did it look cool? Yes, but now Gus is becoming a member of C.O.B.R.A or a James Bond villain - we just accept he has a whole army of hired henchmen, elaborate 'layers' disguised as houses, office buildings, restaurants, etc. He had people that can do his bidding, hideouts, motels, and loyal workers in those locations.
What made him so cool was that he played everything close to the vest, only had 2 or so very trusted "fixers," and he was successful because he didn't have a huge entourage or "cartel" like family - where if one guy gets pinched then the whole house of cards falls.
