that kind of pisses me off as I got a bit excited seeing the X wing flying in thinking we'd get more Luke.

The poster is meant to represent the complete season, not a specific episode. Luke, the Hutt twins, Danny Trejo & Stephen Root's characters and more seen were all from different episodes yet all in the image.

Rodriguez didn't write the episode, so you can't really blame that on him.

Damn... another thing people can't pin on Rodriguez...

Why would anyone think Luke would swoop in and help a crime lord fight against other crime lords in a mafia turf war?

The New Republic might think it would be better to have a "friendly" Boba Fett running Tatooine instead of the Pyke Syndicate.

Isn't that what they got anyway without Luke?

Luke may have gotten involved based on Bobba trying to clean up / end the spice trade and it could have occurred as part of the return of Grogu to Mando, hundreds of ways that could have played out.

I would think Luke would want to make sure Grogu made it safely. He wouldn't care about a bunch of crime lords but he should know just sending Grogu to Tatooine might not be the best idea considering all of the dangers.

Luke's family has a history of not liking sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

Why? R2 can fly him there and he made his choice, like Luke did to leave Dagobah. Yoda wasn't going to fly him back to his friends in Empire.

I don't think any of us have an issue with Luke of Fennec or even Dart Vadar having mods, it is just that the kids in the Mod Squad on their sad little Vespas flying bikes are just lame as hell.

No no, haven't you heard? When it comes to Star Wars, "toxic" fandom hates when the creative team "attempts something new" or whatever.

You must uncritically love everything or you're a TOXIC FAN.

When Kylo Ren said "Let the past die. Kill it if you have to," he was talking to YOU.
