I hope Grillo gets more screentime than the regulars Dana Delany and Garrett Hedlund, they were underused.

I love Frank Grillo. Boss Level is one of my new favorites.

Grillo has mostly been working on DTV movies. So this is a pretty high profile gig for him. I know he’s not a big star, but he I think he is underrated.

Yeah, I like Grillo and agree he's underrated. Was glad to see him pop up in the MCU as Crossbones. The first time I really noticed him was on a wild series called "The Gates". It was about a gated suburban community of Monsters.

Well, he's the lead in the new DCU Creature Commandos animated series that's also supposed to offer live action opportunities.

Grillo has a blossoming career in B or movies that are direct to cable or streamers

It's a shame that Frank Grillo's show Kingdom flew under the radar. The show was fantastic and had a great cast. I always thought The Purge movies could have been his big break, since Anarchy and Election Year were the better ones, but he's just stuck in this direct to streaming movies.

Yeah, I won't feel too bad about Grillo and his prospects. I remember he and Joe Carnahan sold their production company or some company to a Chinese conglomerate for a ton. He recently posted on social media that he was selling his Hollywood Hills mansion for almost 10 million. DTV seems to pay more than reasonably well. There are times on social media where he comes off like a blowhard, though.

Grillo said he felt way more famous in China just for being in Wolf Warrior 2.

Grillo always strikes me as a try hard. Can't take him seriously.

‘Tulsa King’ Casting Agency Quits After Sylvester Stallone Accused Of Disparaging Background Actors

An Atlanta-based casting company has left Tulsa King in the wake of allegations that Sylvester Stallone and one of the directors had disparaged some background actors who were working on the Paramount+ drama.

Rose Locke Casting of Atlanta was hired to find actors ages 18 and over for the second season of the Taylor Sheridanseries. But apparently the working conditions on Tulsa King soon became fodder on a private Facebook page for Atlanta-based background actors; Stallone and an unnamed director were accused of calling some of the extras “ugly,” “tub of lard” and “fat guy with cane.” The recipient of the latter comment apparently said later that it “hurt his soul” to hear himself described that way on set.

Allegedly, Stallone then suggested that production bring in “pretty young girls to be around me,” instead.

Who or what were they looking for to fill those roles?

No one outside of those on set who is telling the truth. It's possible the casting agency did a shitty job and Sly, being an EP on the show, was really unhappy with them. We won't know if these alleged snarky comments about looks were actually said or were greatly exaggerated.

Update

In response, Tulsa King EP and Director Craig Zisk told TMZ earlier today that no insults were hurled at the extras on the set, but he also said that Locke brought in older background actors who should have been in their 20s and 30s for a scene in a hip bar. He also said Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, was present during filming and that the star never said anything about wanting “pretty girls” around him.

Zisk also claimed he asked Locke for headshots of the extras, but she responded by saying she didn’t work that way and quit an hour later. Deadline has reached out to reps for Zisk for further comment.

“Fat guy with cane” would totally fit in to a hip bar for 20 and 30 year olds.

Jon Bernthal did a con here in Pittsburgh a couple years back and he talked about what a jerk Sly was on the set of Grudge Match.
