I have a friend at work who's roommate works for various Marvel productions as a 1st AD. He told me today that his roommate said this production was a train wreck and he quit halfway through.

This was filmed back in December 2020. His roommate said that the director sucked and was terrible shooting the fight and action sequences. He also said they did a shit job with COVID testing on set and put many crew members at risk.

I don't know anything else, but this same person also worked on Falcon and the Winter Soldier and he had issues with that show too as the lead director was not a good action director and the stunt coordinator on that show had to shoot most of the action scenes.

Sounds like these MCU shows were troubled productions.

Nice to have an MCU show that does not have aliens, witches, magical sea dragons, gods, time travel, alternate timelines, etc.

I am very skeptical as to the the upcoming multiverse stuff. When no character never really dies, because there are dozens more of them, the stakes are pretty low.

I'm not sure, but I guess its the one who directed these first two episodes. And looking at his IMDB, he has no experience working on an action show like this.

The action scenes seemed perfectly fine to me.

I'm just going off what my co-worker told me his roommate told him being on the set for half the season. He was really unhappy. My co-worker's roommate also worked on Infinity War and End Game, so he has experience on these MCU productions.

Then again, this was filmed a year ago when COVID was in it's 2nd wave, no vaccinations and everyone was super tense. It could have been a really tense production.

I'm not as into this series as I was the others. I like the actors, but this just feels like too slow a setup. I'm just waiting around for something interesting to happen.

Was Shane Black around this production? It's Christmas and the last episode ended with an interrogation scene where the good guy is relaxed and is definitely gonna escape. If the quips back and forth were a little sharper, I'd think he was a ghost writer.

I'm liking it. I do hope something big happens though. Some of these shows have been really disappointing. Maybe if it folds into future MCU movies it'll feel like something important happened in the Winter Soldier show.

Just watched the first two episodes. Thought it was okay at best. Like Tony Dalton, as I do on BCS.

Couldn't get over how much Cooper Barton unfortunately looks like Kyle Rittenhouse now
