Holy crap way to just dump this with no promotion. Hopefully it is better than last season. It was way too slow.

Yeah, still haven't finished season 3. Hopefully Phantoms is closer to the magic of the first 2 seasons.

If you thought last season was slow, this 4th one is even slower. I'm liking the series so far but it feels a little discombobulated due to how they've split the stories. Some spoilers ahead:

Pretty clear that they are tackling themes of social class division and racism (Martian caste), self identity (Miss Martian and the family) and depression, anxiety and other mental health issues (Beast Boy) but with the exception of Gar's issues, everything else feels wonky in how they dealt with it. I'm extremely glad that the show is digging deep on the DC Comics lore using very obscure characters, something that almost every live action DC property is scared to do. For example, I loved that they brought in Jemm, Son of Saturn, to the show.

My only question so far will be, are they going to bring Connor back? Is that the purpose of the Legion members being there? Did they take him to the future and left a decoy to make it seem that he died?

One thing is clear too. HBOMax needs to do a Justice League show in the Young Justice universe. It feels that there are so many stories to be told.

Damn I totally spaced this came out. I need to catch up. Sad to hear it slower than last year. That was the biggest issue I had with last season.

I've been watching weekly but honestly, I think binging will work best for this season. Kinda wish I had waited.

The season has been good and im loving the separate stories arcs. Its a very mature series. Loviing the current story dealing with magic. Also...They have managed to make Vandal Savage very interesting.

The different story arcs were well done. I think this is a big step up from last season.

I dunno. I appreciate the storylines are more adult but the show seems to be less action oriented. Cartoons should have MORE action since they can do things a live action show can't.

Man, HBO and DC have done 0 promotion that the series was resuming today. I luckily remembered thanks to HBOMax telling me there was a new episode when I opened the app.

Like the 3 episodes they dropped today but already been seeing assholes complain online about the show being about pandering, wokeness and every other bullshit buzzword these idiots heard on Fox News. Seeing how many characters they are using and how many potential stories there are, I would love to see more seasons or even if the show evolved to being a Justice League one.

The only thing that really surprised me was

Lagoon Boy having a husband and a wife (who's pregnant), basically all of them being in a legal throuple.

If that was the series finale, it was pretty good. Tied up all the loose ends. I figured the Nightwing "death" was a fake out.

I really hope this comes back so we can hopefully get some payoff of the Apokolips/ Darkseid story. That has been in the background for years, now.

Yeah that is end of the season, to my knowledge. 26 total episodes in S4
