Great casting with the Eclipso kid.

Excellent episode this week gearing up for what should be a cracker of a finale. This season has been a little slower paced than last year but I think the pandemic catches some of the blame for it. They have succeeded in making the kind of goofy Eclipso a nice Freddy Krueger-ish threat. And seeing the original Dr. Mid-Nite back - now THAT hits this JSA geek's sweet spot!

That season finale had everything. Best DC show on TV right now (yes, I like it more than Doom Patrol).

Very good finale and over all Season 2 was well done.
I am concern that the cast is getting bloated. Lots of characters to juggle next season. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/dvdtalk...45722797bd.jpg Bleeding Cool article about the visual effects for THUNDERBOLT. Stargirl Creative Director Andrew Orloff Discusses Thunderbolt Secrets (bleedingcool.com) |

I was kind of hoping the woman running the orphanage Jade was in was Granny Goodness, but that would have been too much of a stretch for this show.

I liked season one more but Stargirl remains a solid superhero drama. I wonder how they'll fit Jeff Winger into the series next season.

I noticed that the actress who played that woman keeps popping up in the DC projects. She was Polka-Dot Man’s mother in Suicide Squad and the lady who gave the feminine products and clothes to Dorothy in Doom Patrol.

Keith David as Mr Bones!!!!! Nice Community reunion with him and Joel McHale.
Trivia... Keith voiced Spawn on HBO and now Mr Bones. Both characters created/co-created by Todd McFarlane. |

Now that the season is over, when will it hit HBOMax?

Seth Green is replacing Jim Gaffigan as the voice of THUNDERBOLT.

https://tvline.com/2022/05/25/dcs-st...derbolt-voice/ Seth Green is having a bad time after he claims some of his NFT apes were stolen from him using a phishing scam. One very special ape in particular was taken and then sold to another user, which is bad news for him because Green planned and created an entire new TV show starring that digital ape NFT. Now that he no longer owns it or the rights to it, that TV show might be dead. Speaking of Seth Green, he’s been in the news recently. Apparently he’s another crypto/NFT-douchebag. What happened to him was inevitable and pretty damn funny. |

Yeah he made his entire twitter a full on NFT shill.
