III was set in 1985, right? So I wouldn't say it was totally unrealistic. Plus all the cocaine gave his skin a nice healthy glow.

Man, if they had ended this season with Episode 9 instead of Episode 10, that would have been great. Sadly, that final episode cops out on the Episode 9 ending and then doesn't provide much to get excited about for Season 5. The gas seems to be running out on this one - hope Season 5 is the last one.

I felt this was the season that jumped the shark. The good stuff is still very good but they've taking the teen drama a bit too far. The time wasted with the kid being bullies was a time waster, the never Sensai drama with Johnny and Daniel, the Tory/Samantha stuff, the prom, especially the time wasted with that fat loser guy.Terry Silver fell a little flat but I won't count him as a negative.
The show needs more Kyler, he is so smarmy in the classic Johnny Laurence mold. The only character that they have the balls to not be a shade of grey.
Still I love this show

I watched the first five episodes right away. Took a break for a few weeks, and watched 6 and 7 which I didn’t care for at all.
I thought the final 3 episodes were good. I have no idea why they keep adding characters all the time.
I liked it being more about Johnny and The Karate Kid and their families.

Are Kreese and Silver supposed to be about the same age? I don't remember Kid 3 at all.
I thought the 2nd half was really good. I'm glad the story with the Kenny and LaRusso seems to be done-ish.
