Fuck the host for not giving back the umbrella (and subsequently giving it to the country club owner). Not his business about what’s written on the umbrella, nor is it his place to withhold it from Larry.

I did like how they cleverly made it an umbrella that Larry had stolen or "stolen," so the host claimed he was going to see it got returned to Texas, which was funny.

Larry lies about everything. Why wouldn't he just say he bought it from their shop or something? It's not like having the logo means he didn't own it.

Also, the chefs yelling out to Larry’s date…pretty sure nobody would agree to that lest they have a desire to get fired or show up on YouTube/Twitter nationwide.
They were also yelling details that she did not reveal to Larry, so he could have salvaged the situation and say there’s no way he would have known those additional details.
Plus, he could have then been pissed because the agreement was to tell a secret that had never been revealed - but she told her secret to Hal already. There could have been a Larry style argument like “A used secret is not a secret! If you already told someone a secret, then what you’re telling me is just a fact!”

I could someone (like ME) telling the truth because you're taking pride in what you pulled off: This hotel lent me the best umbrella I ever used, so I just kept it cuz I'm smart like that.

I keep on spacing out on watching this. Might just wait until the season is over at this point and binge it.

OK, now that one was pretty pretty good. Best one of the season so far IMO.

One of my least favorite episodes of the entire series. The bit at the airport and him calling the car company was so cringe worthy and unfunny I'm surprised it made it through a number of people and into the episode.

I didn't like the car service stuff, but I did really enjoy the Seth Rogen conversation, as well as the anchovy and cell phone stuff.
I agree with Larry about the anchovy stuff specifically. I HATE HATE HATE when people make negative comments about my food or order. I think it is the height of rudeness for someone to denigrate something that I'm about to eat. I'm not forcing you to eat it! Shut your fucking mouth because I want to enjoy it without your negativity.
Also, some of Leon's fat jokes were pretty damn funny.

The phone call with the car service was the only weak part of this week's show. And it wasn't all that bad. It just went on and on way too long. Had it been much shorter, it would have been tolerable.

I really laughed at the roofing guy because we're having construction (not roofing) done right now at my home and those bastards make SO MUCH noise that I'm like Larry - I can't live here!

I laughed more at Leon listening to Larry's conversation with the car agency, than at the conversation.
The roofer stuff was pretty funny, but I thought that actually falling through the roof kind of ruined it. Just a bit too cartoonish and over the top.
Then again, it was also an episode with Larry wrestling a small woman.

Larry's face every time he saw the chiropractor's underwear. The conversation with the restaurant hostess about unplugging Jeff's phone and her calling out the "strange dynamic" of their relationship and Larry having no reaction except to say, "So...you're not going to do it?" Vaughn, Rogen, and Smoove all going toe-to-toe with Larry.
Yeah the guy falling through the roof and the small woman fight were a bit over the top, but this episode was packed with great conversational Curb.

I thought this one was the weakest of the season. Had a couple moments but overall it missed for me. Seth Rogen was terrible. The best part was the call between Larry and the Limo company.

I felt bad laughing at “When are you going to die?” given Lewis’ health issues.

Now that felt like a classic episode of Curb. It had a great mix of storylines.
I loved the idea of Larry and the other voter both leaving the line to cancel each other's votes. I never thought of that.
Been a while since I've seen Tracy Ullman in anything.

Yeah very solid episode. Strong showing by Susie in this one. Absolutely great to see Richard Lewis back! He actually looked genuinely surprised when Larry asked him to just die already.
