The whole storyline about Clark having a brother totally ruins the whole point of the Superman mythos. Supergirl was a bit of a stretch, but now he truly isn't "The last son of Krypton". Kind of bugs me a little- once again you have to wonder how much the writers know about Superman.

Tonight is the season finale. Man, I can't believe they stretched out 15 episodes over 6 months.
I know a few here have said they lost interest, but I still think this is the best new DC show on the CW since the 1st season of Flash.
I'm a little confused by the end of episode 14. What being did Edge send inside Jordan? And I was surprised that Clark couldn't locate him and basically gave up.
The breaks because of the production delays have also killed a lot of the momentum the show built up.

Okay I wasn't sure. Because Edge attempted to put Zod into Clark before he broke free of it.

Definitely Zeta-Rho (Edge's father).
Well, I almost had it right- I originally thought he was going to take over Morgan Edge.

This show is fading fast for me. Didn't care for the Edge storyline at all. Other than his story ending, the finale was disappointing. I was hoping this show's version of Iron Man with Thor's hammer was leaving, but that doesn't look to be the case now. One superhero is enough for me.

Nice wrap up of everything. A bit of a letdown but it was still vastly better than all the other CW shows combined. I guess my biggest question is how does this show continue? I mean Smallville can't be in danger every season and Clark can't be running to Metropolis all the time. Seems like they are going have to manufacture drama, which concerns me.

Finale was eh. Not much of a “cliffhanger” there, and I agree, the Edge storyline didn’t do much for me either.
What I fear is that in order to keep the show going they will start to do crossovers, especially considering next season will be the last for The Flash.

I watched the finale last night. It was a pretty good wrap up to the entire season. Not sure what to make of that “cliffhanger” with John Henry’s daughter coming to Smallville. I did really like the scene with Lois and Jordan. Very emotional. That was really well acted both Bitsie.
It’s going to be awhile until the show comes back. It doesn’t return until mid season 2022. So they have lots of time to figure things out.

Would not surprise me if we lose John Steel for much of season two and his daughter gets "adopted" by either the Kents or the Langs.
The first half of the season was stronger. Edge wasn't a bad nemesis but I hope we don't see reams of other Kryptonian villains popping up all the time. Supergirl ripped off so many Superman villains and storylines for plot reasons that the only unused stuff left will be fairly expensive to pull off on a TV budget. Supergirl's foray deep into the Legion cuts off a natural avenue to explore with Jordan and Jonathan.

Anything is possible but I imagine the show will avoid re-using characters Supergirl touched whenever possible. Notice how Jimmy Olsen went completely unmentioned during season one. I'm guessing he's off-limits while Supergirl is on the air.

I wouldn't be too sure. The first season's main villain was a reused (and recast) character from Supergirl.

According to Hoechlin, the extended cuts of these episodes are streaming on HBO Max
Don't expect big differences. The extended cuts are really only 1-3 minutes longer.

Jenna Dewan is returning as Lois' younger sister Lucy.
For those who remember, she last played the character 5 years ago in the 1st season of Supergirl.

That doesn't bode well for her character on The Rookie
