WandaVision (S1E06) - "All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" - 2/12/21
Halloween has arrived in Westview! While Wanda takes Billy and Tommy trick-or-treating, Vision ventures out to the far side of town on a hunch.

My only real complaint is now that the show has shown what it actually is, the episodes feel way too short. This weeks felt like it was still just starting when its unusually long end credit sequence started

That Yo-Magic commercial was disturbing.
So, was it implying that the master villain at work here is feeding off of Wanda's magic? This could be pointing to Nightmare as the big behind-the-scenes baddie.

Well, that was interesting. It does show how dangerous Wanda can be without even realizing it. I never watched Malcolm in the Middle, so a lot of this meant very little to me, but it'll be interesting to see what happens to Darcy. Fun stuff. Look forward to next week.

The only similarities to Malcolm were broad characterizations, talking to the camera and the intro. The rest? Not so much.

Great episode. Elizabeth Olsen look simply gorgeous in the Scarlet Witch costume.
I'm wondering now who's coming in to help Monica Rambeau in an hour? Nick Fury? Carol Danvers? Clint Barton? Doctor Strange? Hulk?
It's pretty clear that Agnes is just Agnes now and that some of the people in Westfield have the trance semi-broken but are so afraid of Wanda that they aren't doing anything about it. Vision clearly has full control of his mind now. Pietro clearly knows that something is up. Wanda is figuring out that she doesn't have full control of what's happening either. The question now is who's behind it all.
Wanda?
Mephisto?
Agatha Harkness
Nightmare?
Loki?
Blackheart?
All of them have the power to enslave people and control their will.

I agree. Her and Herb are always around just enough and at precisely the right time to keep Vision's plot moving and they seem to be faking/exaggerating Wanda's control to an extent.
Plus, if I knew there was an outsider in the Hex, telling Wanda's husband wouldn't be the first thing on my list of things to do.

I really love that they found a way to incorporate Evan Peters into this. He’s a great actor and was fun in this episode. He looked like he was having a blast. I do think AT-J will still appear as the real Pietro eventually.

...And I'm hoping that Darcy's new role involves S&M thanks to the handcuffs!

The "Kick-Ass" line is a fun nod to Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Things are heating up. I'm pumped for next week's finale!

The cut-aways, also. But I took it as a general blend of shows from that era. The movies on the marquee were The Parent Trap and The Incredibles, so 1998 (presumably it's the Lindsay Lohan one)-2004, I thought it was a signifier of the time period they were going for.
