I have Paramount Plus and forgot to cancel my subscription, so I will watch. That said, I pay for Peacock+ premium and refuse to watch the original series on there until they remove ads. I think it's ridiculous to pay for premium and they still have ads. I have e-mailed customer service and they have done nothing about it.

I'm confused what you mean about Peacock. Are you paying the $5/month plan that does have ads? I have the $10/month plan and it's ad free.

They finally removed ads from the seasons and I got around to fully watching the pilot of the original series last night. I actually enjoy Yellowstone for the most part, but some of the characters, especially Beth, are hard to get my empathy.

This is now up on Paramount + 2 episodes are up. 66 minutes and 59 minutes. Remember this is a prequel to Yellowstone. Some characters had a brief introduction in a flashback on Yellowstone this season.
You need a paid subscription to see this like Mayor of Kingstown. Yellowstone is on the Paramount TV network.
I don't anticipate many here talking about this as there's so much on Sundays.

Just watched the first episode and while I haven't seen much of the first season so far, I am curious if Beth's statement about how not many of the Dutton women make it past 40 will come into play.

I watched only the first episode and absolutely loved it. Sam Elliott is (of course) fantastic, and Tim McGraw is better than I anticipated. Excellent start for sure.

Between the first episode of 1883 and the last episode of Yellowstone, they've shown the fate of not one, but TWO of the major characters. So I'm guessing 1883 is just a one-off, 10 episode mini-series - regardless of how well it does?

I liked the first two episodes and I think it's a nice touch to show the story through the eyes of a young innocent woman, rather those hardened veterans.
