I think more evidence to show it's not just Wanda is the stork in episode 3. In that episode a stork shows up when "Geraldine" drops by and Wanda tries to get rid of it including in a puff of red smoke indicating she's using her powers. Much to her surprise it has zero effect on the stork and it just flaps it's wings in defiance indicating that at least part of the sitcom world is not created or even able to be effected by her.

No one mentioned her returning accent when Wanda was outside of the Hex? I liked that touch.

Also Darcy's term hex they try to pass it off as if it's for hexagonal but it could also mean Hex like a curse.

Also also I like how Rambeau states that Wanda protected her as she kicked her out of Westview. At least it acknowledges she would have been killed and it shows that Wanda isn't the "bad guy".

I liked all the Family Ties nods in this episode. One of my favorite classic sitcoms.

The Hex is one of the things that is teasing that
Spoiler:
Mephisto may be behind all of this.

About the accent, Wanda has an American accent in the sitcoms because they are American sitcoms while outside of that world she's still Sokovian Wanda Maximoff.

Holy shit this show is rocking right now.
Yes, he was Quicksilver in the FOX X-men films.

As for Magneto being Wanda and Pietro's father, that was retconned in the comics about 7-10 years ago when Marvel was pissed that Fox wouldn't sell back the rights to X-Men or do an agreement similar to what Sony and Marvel have with Spider-Man. Instead, now, Wanda and Pietro are normal humans who were given powers by the High Evolutionary. Some of that new origin was adopted to the MCU with the powers being acquired by exposure and testing of the Mind Stone by Hydra. I'm feeling the new bullshit retcon is going to be reversed at some point and Magneto will be their father once again.

So glad I've managed to avoid spoilers - I had to pause at the end because I was laughing/incredulous. Genius move. Well, maybe genius is hyperbole, but it was great. Going to be interesting to see where this goes. Is it just a wink to us? Is this moving into the multiverse storylines? (Yes, I know the title of Dr. Strange 2)

To be clear, I'm not looking for spoiler answers to those questions.

Quicksilver here was only a few years older than in Days of Future Past. If they bring all of the X-Men into the MCU through some multiverse trick, they could continue to use the younger cast of Fasbender and Macavoy and maybe others.

What was the first reference? Reed Richards showing up in this would be amazing. And at this point, I feel that almost anything could happen in this story.

That's the first thing I though of, a "hex" like a witch can cast. And speaking of which, () this episode also made me realize that I don't think Wanda has ever been referred to as "Scarlet Witch" in the MCU, correct?

This show is getting better and better.

Congo Bongo for the C64 was a great game.

It was pretty much a burn on the name when Director Haywood said, "Doesn't she have a nickname or something?"

I think that is the plan. I would guess Wolverine would be an available character even if he might be recast.

Great theories! I hadn't even considered some of them. One thing Disney needs to do (preferably before the series ends) is change their release times... 3am/midnight is ridiculous. Why not just follow HBO and release it at 9/6pm? Wouldn't that increase the must-see nature of the show - releasing it when people are awake and able to watch it?

I’m curious if the Fox X-Men films will be in canon now in a Multiverse sort of way. I mean really why not at this point? Disney owns Fox and are seemingly incorporating the non-MCU versions of Spider-Man into the third Holland Spider-Man film.

Basically the whole story that Director Hayward told Rambeau about astronauts going missing... some resigning... could easily lend itself to the Four’s origin being SWORD astronauts.

Also the CMBR that is being emitted with the Hex could fit in. I know the creator of the show has been a little evasive to answer this fan theory and said that wasn’t her intent, but that doesn’t mean they can’t easily go back and use that.

I’m not saying these are direct references. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that is what they are laying the seeds for.

Maybe John Krasinski showing up at the end of the series as Reed Richards is the "Luke Skywalker" level of surprise that Elizabeth Olsen mentioned in a recent interview

Re: WandaVision (S1E05) - “On a Very Special Episode...” - 2/5/21

Saw the character name trending on Twitter, so that was spoiled for me long before I saw the episode (same thing happened with Mandlorian), but there was no mention of the actor, so that was a really nice surprise.

This is not the way I thought these two universes would meet but I really like it.

Dammit, now I'll be expecting that, and will be disappointed if it doesn't happen and have it spoiled for me if it does happen.

Man, I've been dreaming about how they would first be introduced in the MCU ever since the Fox deal was announced. However it will happen, I can't wait.

if they do get the X-Men/MCU crossover done well with WandaVision, this could be one of the great shows of all nerd-time.

Isn't it about time that SWORD calls in the remaining Avengers?

I guess that's how we are most likely going to see Doctor Strange show up, but it seems that it's only him, Hawkeye, War Machine and Ant-Man available. Also, it seems by what Jimmy Woo said, the Sokovia Accords are still on, so there may be no Avengers officially so that may take Ant-Man and Hawkeye off the list.

Watching it a 2nd time, something is up with Hayward.
It may also be the Blue Marvel, who in the comic books is good friends and teammate with Monica Rambeau
