The Story of Boba Fett would be a better title, IMO.

Just a silly/"internet popular" nerdcore song from 20 years ago about Boba Fett taking jobs from Hutt to finance his Corvette.

Joe Johnston should be given a call to direct one episode. Id go so far as to say it’s almost a guarantee that he’ll get one.

I just want to say it's a hard year but if things go according to plan this show will be here before the end of the year and that makes me happy.

I read they finished filming already, so it seems likely to be in December?

I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store for this show. Particularly I’m interested in seeing the flashback stuff prior to post ROTJ. Wondering how much the show will delve into with that aspect. It would be cool if for instance he goes to Jabba’s Palace before his death.

Disney+ announced today that The Book of Boba Fett — the new Lucasfilm series teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian — will premiere on Wednesday, December 29, exclusively on the streaming service. Disney+ also debuted the key art for the series, which you can see for yourself below.

Disney, Funko are just salivating at how much merchandise they can spit out for this show.

I'm excited - this show has been the best part of Disney buying Star Wars.

Never got the Bobba Fett thing. He is one of the least interesting characters in all of Star Wars. I will watch though because the Mandalorian was terrific.

He just wasn’t used. He was a nothing in movies. Case of reputation and build up of secretive figure keeps him alive. A little fleshed out with father in Attack of the Clones, but those movies really do suck. Greatly fleshed out in Mando and became the icon he was, but never should have been to this point. This show I’m positive will put him over top.

He’s vastly overrated due mostly to his cool costume. But that doesn’t mean the character can’t grow to be awesome. I’ve never read any of the extended universe novels or anything so I don’t know how much time Boba Fett has been given outside the movies but I think the character COULD be pretty cool since so little is known about him. A lot can be created for his character.

I’m looking forward to the show mainly because the Mandalorian has turned out to be so fun. I’m expecting the same from this show.

Prior to him being on The Mandalorian I would have agreed about not caring much about Boba Fett. Now though he’s being used to his potential, and so far has been pretty cool.

Heard a rumor that this will begin with "Chapter 17," making it a direct continuation of The Mandalorian.

Perhaps Mando/Boba/Ahsoka will all share common episode numbering?

I don't understand why they'd do that. What's the benefit?

My guess is to reiterate it's one continuous story with no ambiguity in what order to watch them in.

Seems like it would be confusing to a "typical" viewer, but then again, forty years ago Star Wars named its second movie "Episode V" and retroactively naming the first one "Episode IV..."

But I'd actually be okay if they did name the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett "Chapter 17."

It will make rewatches easier, or getting new viewers into the series.

Ever see the lists of how to watch all of Star Trek in chronological order? It's a nightmare.
