Can they just turn the intro into a Brady Brunch sequence? Feels like it goes on forever now.

I love Wiig, but so far she hasn't had any great skits or moments tonight. We finally got to see Andrew Dismukes featured in a skit and he was really good. I hope they use him more. And it's official, Ego Nwodim is now one of my favorites on the show.

Nothing very memorable, but not the worst episode of the season, a few laughs.
Dua Lipa looked how you'd expect her to look. If she wanted to do a Very Merry Burlesque special, I'd probably be on board.

Cute!? She's fucking gorgeous. When she first appeared on "SNL" in 2018, I foolishly wrote her off saying no one would know her name in a few years. At the time she just blended in with every other pop star to me. But I was wrong. I have since seen her on a few other shows over the years, and she really impressed me. Specifically on Graham Norton (her native country). Where she really shined. Here's one of her appearances.

She looks better with the darker hair.
I have gotten laughs from Sue that hyeractive Aunt or whatever she is that Wiig plays in the past but this one fell flat or did not mesh like it did when Wiig was a regular.
Too bad with the exception of Maya none of the holdovers from here era like Hader, Poeher, Armisen etc were not on the show.
Whenever WU did a joke at the expense of Democrats everybody was afraid to laugh.

Not really a surprise that Jim Carrey left already, in spite of the official story from the PR people, it felt more like he came in thinking he was going to get the kind of praise Alec Baldwin did doing Trump and when it never happened he lost interest...
I agree with most here Kristen Wiig's characters have all been run into he ground at this point and she shouldn't bother bringing them back when she hosts. She was horrible in this episode and repeating the 'Secret Word' character and the 'Sue can't keep a secret' character did not help! That being said, I'm still a fan of her movies and I hope she continues with more comedic movie roles and not so much drama. Looking forward to see what she does with Wonder Woman 1984's Cheetah.
Best sketch of the night for me was Grinch 3 way which felt like something old school SNL might have done in the 70s. (I can see Bill Murray doing Grinch and Jane Curtin and Dan Akroyd as the parents..)

I thought it was a horrible episode. The only thing that made me laugh was the Christmas mom/robe gift sketch.

Not bad, but those news items that Jost and Che write for each other got really creepy and uncomfortable. 
And thank the gods no Target Lady or Gilly. I didn't mind the return of Aunt Sue or the Secret Word actress, though. They are least annoying of her arsenal of characters.
Target Lady and Gilly are just fucking annoying. Sue, Secret Word, and Penelope are okay in small doses. The problem is that all of her characters have this one super-annoying quirk that gets driven into the ground, and when she keeps revisiting them, it's just too much of mediocre thing.

I think Carrey just wanted to come on and make Joe Biden appear to be energetic and cool in hopes of helping somewhat in getting him elected. He obviously wasn't going to do it for 4 years or however long is needed.
Did anyone think at first that it was Jason Sudeikis doing Biden? I wonder if they may just rotate Biden to different people to see how each one does.

I thought that was weird and disconcerting - and they were good jokes, too! We truly have become tribal.
Anyway, I love Wiig and she looked like she was having fun. I'm surprised there was no mention of WW84 in the monologue.

Norm McDonald and Colin Quinn went after Democrats though they had no choice since they were in power in the 90''s.
I think Sudekis would be the best Biden but nobody wants to laugh at Biden so probably nobody could play him.

The problem with Biden is that it's hard to make fun of him. You can poke fun at his age, but those jokes gets tired fast.
Now if he said and did something nuts, then they'd jump on it. He's just not going to do that very often, and when he does - it'll still be pretty timid.
SNL and late night TV had a feeding frenzy with Trump for 4+ years. He said and did total bat-shit crazy shit on an hourly basis - it was hard to keep up. Anyone else elected after him, Dem or Rep. would be very boring by comparison.
