I've read it's very much a case where they should have thrown out the first couple pancakes.

The 4th episode had a good performance by Larroquette.

Pete Holmes was on the last episode.
Maybe he will become a regular?
Joanna Kerns AKA Maggie Seaver directed the marathon episode.

I have been trying to watch this, and it just...is boring. It's not straight up awful, but the writing is pedestrian, the jokes aren't clever, and while I liked Rauch as a supporting character on BBT, she's just not interesting here.
A scene from the original show has been popping around social media, the "sukiyaki slam bam" joke, (it's about 1:45 into this clip) and it just shows you how empty the reboot is.

I've bailed on this midway through the 5th episode I think. It's just not that funny and isn't all that interesting.
I checked it out for the nostalgia factor, but that rested solely on Dan's presence and I guess the courtroom itself - but that fades away pretty quickly and we aren't left we much after that.

I hate watch this one. It's so poorly written and acted.
Rauch deserved better as did John.

I was bored and watched the first couple of episodes. Actually watched it with my wife, two teens and parents. Not a laugh from any of the six of us over the course of two episodes. It's completely unwatchable. Calling it a turd is being kind. How did it even get greenlit?
Even worse is the laugh track (do they even do studio audiences anymore?). I've never been of the "audience/laugh track telling me when to laugh" mindset, but that's exactly what's going on here because there aren't any jokes to be found.

I gave up after two episodes so I was wondering if the bump meant it had gotten better. Sounds like maybe, but I’ll still pass.

This. If you still have to give viewers a cue as to when they need to laugh in this day and age, your show is probably falling flat.

Yeah, I'm out on this one. Should have been out after the pilot, but I gave it a few more episodes. It did not get any better.
