I haven't seen Damages, but I agree, it's a dumb article. It's been great seeing so many people on Twitter rushing to praise Short and rip the Slate piece.

It’s ridiculous that something like that gets approved and published. It’s literally one person’s opinion on what they think of him, and trying to tear him down for no reason.

After the big drama about the article on social media I expected it to be this big hit piece on Martin Short and then I read it and it's just some dude's opinion piece explaining why he doesn't care for Short's style of humor. Funny to see everyone up in arms about something that inconsequential.

Still think it's Tobert. He so obviously has motive and nobody is even considering him as a possible suspect yet. That's a red flag.

This week's surprise guest star was a total Home Run. Really enjoyed that extended cameo, which I won't spoil here, but he's a good sport.

And speaking of guest stars, I am certain Meryl Streep will be in less than 6 episodes this season just so she can qualify for the Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Emmy next year.

So the brother said that Ben always set his watch 20 minutes AHEAD so he would always arrive fashionably late, but setting your watch ahead means you always get there early.

And then they said Ben's watch shows he died at 8:06 but since his watch was ahead, it was 8:26. But if the watch was ahead, he died at 7:46.

Yeah, this bugged me as well. Unless this grammatical BS like when people now say "try and relax" instead of the correct "try to relax," or "could care less" instead of the correct "couldn't care less."

Just caught up on the last two after being out of town. It's funny that MB and MB both had cameos two episodes ago because:

My theory on the killer:

I think it's the mother of the weird PRODUCER guy of the play. Weeks back I mentioned to my family that I think she wanted to kill Ben, thus killing the play, to ensure that her son's first PRODUCING gig gets canceled. That way his first endeavor won't be a flop. Also, she had made mention of someone they know being in the insurance business. I think this is going to end up being a PRODUCERS style motive, where they stand to make more on the insurance money of the canceled play than the play itself. Weird how they have now had both actors and the writer/director of THE PRODUCERS on the show now. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Charles’ patter-song was actually pretty amazing. Great work from Steve Martin there. I really love that guy.
