Great first episode! I'm loving the 80's soundtrack. Everyone is going after the former Champs, but those people are going to have trouble winning a final. Anessa is possibly in her worst shape ever. Fessy gases out and Cory, Kam, and Leroy can't do puzzles.

CT not wanting Kam was funny. She is so annoying. If this is actually Leroy’s last season then hopefully she’ll be done too.

As We said, he's going to be a meme for the next ten years. I loved that it ended up being a female elimination and all their efforts to throw CT and Wes in were wasted. There's absolutely no way Anessa will win The Challenge. She's in the worst shape of her life and she gassed out and almost drowned in the river when she made the final for The Duel 2. She was in much better shape then.

I thikn I brought that up a couple seasons ago. They really stepped up the music the last couple seasons. I suppose the show has grown so big they now have the budget for better song rights.

They seem to be licensing from a certain era each season. Last season had late 90's/early 00's music. War of the Worlds 2 had 60's music. This season has 80's music. I read online that future seasons will have "movie themes" now like Double Agents and they don't have plans to do more Rivals or Exes seasons.

I don't understand Fessy's strategy. He should be putting himself into elimination against Joseph and not trying to put Wes, CT, or Kyle into elimination so they can qualify for the final. He just gave Kyle a gold skull and Kyle finished better than Fessy in last season’s final.

I also couldn't believe how scared teams played the daily challenge. If Wes or Bananas had the majority they never would have stood around during the challenge deliberating who to eliminate. They would have handled it. That alliance is so weak.

I don't get Fessy either. If he gets a skull, who's going to go after him? This season, there are very few layups and he just let one of them walk when he could have received a skull and literally no one would have challenged him. Now, he's going to HAVE to go after someone that is a tough player to get his skull. Makes no sense at all. And I thought it was great when Wes was telling them to let him run things (basically) because none off them could.

Also, is it just me (I have a terribly short memory) but are they barely showing Tori (one of my favorites)?

Now you can see why some people get paid big money just to show up. These new/new-ish people are dumb and don’t know how to play. I don’t even think that German guy knows what show he is on.
That would’ve been a cake walk for Fessy, but he let wanting to screw over Kyle blind him.

Someone tell that dipshit Joseph those quarter rep ab movements won't do shit. Fessy not going against Joseph in basically any challenge was sheer idiocy.

You could tell it was a physical challenge as soon as you saw the setup, and Fessys janky comment just didn't make sense unless he's never seen challenge seasons. Maybe he was trying to play it safe since CT was upset by Jay last season in a physical challenge. Kyle's move was pretty smart, but it only works of Cam wants to win the comp for double agent status. It just didn't make sense why everyone was scared to go after Fessy & Aneesa though. Shows a lack of strategy, but maybe they all wanted Fessy & Aneesa to do the dirty work.

I can't believe Wes is eliminated already. Leroy is getting the winner's edit so far. The daily challenge was dangerous. When was the last time two challengers were injured that bad in a daily challenge?

I was actually wondering when they do some of the in-show interviews because he looks a lot skinnier in those than in the shop itself.

I have to say I have been disappointed with the lack of time with Darrell in this so far. He seems like a genuinely cool, funny, nice guy and yet you would not even know he is on the show at the moment.

Total domination by Tori and Devin in the daily challenge tonight. It’s been awhile since there was a challenge so difficult that only one team completed it. Fessy is playing The Challenge like he played Big Brother terribly.

Holy shit...Fessy standing next to Nelson makes Nelson look like a Hobbit. And Nelson is a big dude.

I actually thought it was a smart move for Fessy. He got his skull and it is really doubtful anyone will thrown him back in the pit because they don't want to go against him. Better to go against him in the final and beat him on stamina and smarts.

People typically win this game when they play the selfish way.

Devin continues to be funny but also very annoying. Every time I think I like the guy, he opens his mouth again and makes me rethink it.

The Fessy / Tori talk was surprising. Is this the reason why Jordan and her broke up?

I almost wish they would go back to the hour long episodes again. I have found myself fast forwarding through most of the politics and home scenes.

Rumors are swirling that Fessy and Tori hooked up. You have to play the long game in the Challenge. It may have made sense for him to go in, but he burned bridges with his allies. You don't want to do that in a show that you can essentially keep coming back on for years. They may decide to throw him in a stamina/endurance or puzzle elimination to get rid of him

He has the most punchable face, the bitchiest voice, an always dumb-dumb demeanor, annoying personality, the brains of a scrambled egg, weeps at the drop of a kleenex, and on and on. The guy is a fucking mess and has somehow lucked into reality TV.

Excellent gameplay by CT and Big T to eliminate Tori, but did Tori throw the elimination so she could break up with Jordan and prepare to start a new life with Fessy?

The cast is so big this season I forgot Darrell, Lolo, and Theresa are on the show. It’s great to see Smashley return. She’s always entertaining.
