I was going nuts trying to figure out why the picture had three all-female teams but the listing had four listed. Riley and Maddison are dudes. Shame on their parents. -ohbfrank-

Edit : They grew up playing volleyball and going to the same private beach club in Honolulu that I have attended since I was a baby and am still a member of. So I almost certainly saw them both as kids playing there. Never knew that.

Awesome, can't wait!

2018 is sure a long time to try and hide your excitement if you won. Though a NDA is a great motivator.

and as has been mentioned before, they don't get paid until after it airs.

Great to see this back.

I've gotten sick of Survivor and Big Brother, so this is my only reality jam.

Their uncle was a pretty famous AVP player as well.

I texted my best friend who played volleyball there every Sunday for many years. I asked him if he knew these guys. He replied "Funny. I played a few times with them as they were growing up - TAR suits them...lol".
So I guess they're the team I am rooting for now. :D

They have a Youtube channel, so they're very well used to being in front of the camera...

I liked the continue racing swerve.

Good to have this show back. I’ll be rooting for Michelle and Victoria, my fellow Asians.

And yes, I did play the piano when I was a child. But I was terrible.

Fun start. I like this group of contestants. I also felt like it was a lot more tightly edited. They seemed to focus more on the action. Some extraneous stuff like driving to LAX, going to the ticket counter and then chit chatting was all cut out.

The last challenge was really all about paying attention and timing. But, I could see how tedious it would get.

I feel like they had more things to do this episode. Barrel rolling, Fish finding, and drum playing. I was surprised that one team was eliminated. They usually don't eliminate anyone on the you're still racing legs.

Those certainly played a part, but having played an instrument before would seem like a huge advantage. (I’m not saying that’s unfair. There are a lot of parts of the race that reward certain random skills.)

I was wondering if they’d all keep racing, but I preferred that someone got eliminated because that’s a tradition of the first leg. Not really a fan of stuff like the fish thing that hugely depends on needle-in-a-haystack luck, though there was some strategy involved, like whether you chose to ignore the colors and just try all the locks, or the ability to remember your four-digit code,

A bit surprised that there is more teams that are rational thinkers rather than drama queens that are one mishap away from total meltdown, they have typically added more unstable teams for the faux drama.

The team that finished first this episode completely lucked out with their brute force method of just trying the same combination on every single fish regardless of color.

Michelle and Victoria gave me a scare initially, since they were in the back of the pack. But they made it to 5th, so that’s a relief.

I do like those “equalizer” tasks, where teams have a chance at passing one another.

All the teams this season seem nice, but boring. There's no one to really root against.

I caught up on the first 2 episodes. Had forgotten about this new season until reading about Jerry Eaves (a former Louisville basketball player) participating. I'm pulling for his team, though he/they haven't looked strong so far.

Maybe, but they wouldn't have been eliminated if they had read the clue. I didn't understand why teams didn't think about the horn given the judge was honking it when teams successfully completed the task.

I was baffled by the same thing. You'd think one of each team would be seeing the judge not getting into the truck and not honking the horn. They only got cleared by the horn.

And read the clue.

Geez, Michelle and Victoria acting so dumb -rolleyes-

Alliances won’t last long. They never do on this show. A couple legs and alliances are over.

Too bad for Jerry and Frank. They seemed like nice people, but they don't have the edge to win this.

I'm kind of rooting for Riley and Maddison. They seem fun and have some quirkiness to them.

i wonder if a team would have been allowed to do the roof building detour if they forgot to bring all the food items from the previous task. It only seem seemed like the cooking task involved the food from the previous task.
