This show is gold. Absolutely gold. So much fun. So endearing. You can’t help but love this show. It’s just amazing writers and cast of characters. So watchable and more importantly rewatchable. Undeniably a delightful series. This ep just like the rest…great.

They still have no idea how to write Nate. He slams his computer in anger and frustration because Ted was making self deprecating jokes and people are somehow making and posting Memes about it in real time?

Enjoyed the season three premiere. Nate tries way too hard to be taken seriously and acts like an asshole when really he’s cowardly. Liked the press conference scene with Ted being self deprecating and comparing himself to Ned Flanders.

He was pissed because he really thinks Ted is a rube and it angers him. He really believes he has put in all the hard work to go from a kit man to a club manager in two years and he should be given success and respect (e.g., the car is the metaphor), when Ted was brought in as a joke and sees "success." He doesn't have any need for people and doesn't see that they can help him, it is just HIM HIM HIM. It crosses him when he goes out and does "what he's supposed to do" while Ted goes out and acts like a buffoon and everybody loves Ted. Nate's whole life he was bullied (even by his father), and now he has tasted power and is trying to bully life back because that is all he knows.
The major theme this episode was jealousy and coveting what other people have instead of appreciating what yo do have. Rebecca is only worried about sticking it to Rupert, not about the team winning for the team. Rupert is only wants to stick it to Rebecca (he hired Nate to do this, not because Nate is actually capable). Nate only cares about what Ted has. Ted is only thinking about what he doesn't have (his wife and kid) instead of what he does have. Keely is missing her old life while chasing this new one -- she is losing her friends, her boyfriend, and her passion for what she is doing INSTEAD of making this new life work for her.
... and the Thanos glove at the end tied it all together. Fucking brilliant.
Brilliant episode.
PS -- I don't want Nate to be redeemed. He will be, but I don't want it. He has gone too far out for me to ever care about the character or to root for him. Maybe ITA ...

Nate can’t be redeemed, but it’s okay for Rebecca to try to completely tank the team, use Ted as a pawn to do so while undermining him, and hiring a tabloid photographer to take photos to make it look like he and Keely were on a date to piss off Jamie? And now she’s best friends with both of them.
If she can get away with coming clean with all that, then it’s a walk in the park for Nate to earn redemption by the end of the season.

I really liked this week's episode but felt there were some pacing issues here and there. Just felt a bit off. I truly hope they don't pull a Ross and Rachel on this show with Roy and Keeley. Why do I have feeling her and Zava are going to have a fling and complicate things even more with her and Roy? Best laugh of the show for me was when Ted announced Zava might be joining the team. And Dani said "I just wished that 30 seconds ago".

Nate will be redeemed. Season 3 is Return of the Jedi, and Rupert is Palpatine. I love this show, but their plots are totally telegraphed. That's okay, because this show is not about plot.
But I'm just saying, the 2015–16 Leicester City F.C. season seems relevant here.

I love this show so much! As dstrauss said the plots are telegraphed, and some aspects are full of sitcom tropes, but it doesn't matter the show is brilliant still. I am so glad this is on streaming, a network would have ruined this show. I am hoping we get an Iron Maiden cameo (Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris are huge fans, West Ham have even had Iron Maiden jerseys for the team.).
