Watched the first 2 episodes over the weekend. Yeah, the production values are great, but then just about everything has great production values these days if you avoid the crap.
I've found this almost completely unsatisfying so far. None of the characters are developed, beyond "athiests" vs "religious" and I couldn't care less about the two androids. And the kids, for that matter. No levity like in "the Boys" and no connection to humanity like in BSG, B5, and even ST, before Disco.
I'll give it another couple eps because Ridley Scott.
We owe him that much loyalty for making one of the best...movies...ever.
Gladiator. Oh yeah.

First two eps were solid, story is just so so, but I like the genre so will stick with it.... and production values are great.

Knocked out both of the new episodes and these definitely the meat an potatoes episodes. Looks like next will also see release of two episodes on Thursday.

For those who don't have HBO Max but are curious about this show, the first episode is uploaded to HBO Max's YouTube channel. Watched it last night. I thought it was alittle dull until the humans arrived on the planet, then it became badass.

i freaking love this show. only 3 eps left. hope they put them all out on Thurs and not just the 2 and then have to wait to see how it finishes up. can't wait to see that.

I'm five episodes in and have been really enjoying it. Very happy to hear that it's been renewed and is doing so well.

They're figuring things out, I still like weekly release schedules personally. It gives time to catch up and discuss and makes the year wait between seasons a little shorter.

Multiple places listed 10 episodes. When you Google the show, the results for the HBOMax link have a title of “Season Finale This Thursday.” So it seems all 3 drop this week.
