RIP

I know he starred in other things, but he's best known for me at least as Steve Trevor from the Wonder Woman TV series.

Hadn't realized he was so old when he was on Wonder Woman. Waggoner was 40 when the show started. I would have never guessed that age. He was a popular guest star on television in the 1980s, I remember seeing him on several different shows.

I had never heard he was up for the role of Batman that ultimately went to Adam West.

Before they realized they needed a real comedian (Tim Conway) on the show, not a himbo.

RIP Lotsa 70's Memories of him. I had just in the last few years found out he founded "Star Waggons". Living in LA I think of him every time I see one on the road.

For some reason, the first thing I think of is the 60s film Catalina Caper. Terrible movie, great episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

It's hard to picture anyone but Adam West in the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the 1966 series.

I saw him once in 1994. It was at Joe's Stone Crabs in Miami Beach, the night of my 23rd birthday. He walked in, tan, toned, pink polo shirt on, and an AMAZING smile -- those teeth really knew how to light up a room. Motherfucker was easily the handsomest guy in the restaurant, and for Miami Beach in 1994 this is saying something. RIP Lyle!
