He’d been fading for a long time. I just watched Meaning of Life last night. He’s great in it.

"Um, well look, if we built this large, wooden badger."
Each Python brought their own gifts of wit and humor to the group and Terry seemed to be the common bond. Thanks for all of the comedy and everything else.

Re: RIP Terry Jones
I've always loved the Pythons, so it's really sad to see a second one go.

Just watched his DVD in the Monty Python Personal Best series. Sorta sad/appropriate ending with him joking about super creative types just drifting off to years’ long sleeps.

Re: RIP Terry Jones
Terry Jones was at Dragon Con 2015 and he had an assistant with him who basically spoke for him during the Q&A portion of his panel. Terry Jones seemed confused and frequently said little more than an awkward "Yes" or "No" to most questions. At the time, I didn't know why that happened and thought he was probably jetlagged from flying over, but I then asked the MST3K guys Frank Conniff and Trace Beaulieu on the Walk of Fame what was up with Terry Jones. They told me "Early Dementia" which was completely unexpected and so sad to hear.

He was a scholar, too - his Medieval Lives series was very well done. If you think the life of a medieval peasant was nothing but toil, plague, bad food, missing teeth and oppression... well, Mr Jones would like to set the record straight:
