Season finale time already. These eight episodes went by way too fast. I can’t wait for season two.

Loved the whole season and this episode you can tell was directed by Taika Waititi from the start (the beginning is hilarious). It’s been decades since I did “appointment television” but this show is literally the first thing I watch after waking up on the day it drops. Thanks Mandalorian for helping to bring back that type of excitement to me.

I’ll definitely need to watch the various SW animated series in the meantime before season 2!

This was a hell of a great episode. The last few were real good. Glad we got off that solving a crime in one show stuff from earlier this season.

The ending climax scene was pretty fucking awesome.

The family woke up @ 4AM to watch the last episode. It’s been fun waking up this early, have breakfast, and enjoy the show. Excellent finish to the season with plenty of questions for the next one.

I’m sad to see IG-11 gone along with Kuiil but as others have said I can’t wait for S2. So was that a lightsaber that Moff Gideon had? Nice to see that the Jedi were finally name dropped.

The 2 biker scouts were Jason Sudeikis and Adam Pally in case you were wondering. I like to think they did this scene for everyone who wondered what the Imperial troopers do on their down time :lol:

Absolutely badass! The Darksaber is a pretty big part of Mandalorian lore, and it was featured a good bit in the last season or so of Rebels:

I had a familiar feeling about the two scout troopers, and had to check but it looks like they were playing Tag & Bink. I remember getting the spoof comic from a long while ago (google check: jeez, 2001) - wouldn’t be surprised if they popped up again in the future :)

I would watch an entire series about the two stormtroopers at the beginning of the episode - they were a hoot. I loved that Baby Yoda bit one of them after getting hit in the head twice.
Showing that neither of them could shoot the broad side of a barn was great.
Seeing the Darksaber made me want to go re-watch Rebels.

My girl the Mandalorian gatekeeper was fucking badass and fucked them all up. That was a pretty brutal fight, too.

I loved the shattering of the Stormtrooper helmet and the one guy getting instantly smelted.

Yep, those were two great moments. The Troopers scene would have been cut for length with any other director (most likely). I love that we spend a good five minutes with those two.

Solid finale.

I loved The Child smiling and laughing when he was sitting in the sack on the speed bike with IG-11 IG-11 taking out all those storm troopers was pretty badass.

This episode really had Taika Waititi's blue print all over it with the humor especially. The banter between those Biker scouts was pretty awesome. I got mad when they kept hitting the child on the head. :mad: :lol: at their terrible aim.

and finally we got to see Pedro's face. Maybe that was his one and only day on set? ;)

It was cute when the child walked up to Mando's leg and hugged it. :wub:

A couple of other standouts was when Greef Karga telling baby Yoda to do the "magic hand thing", then Toda just waves back. And The Mandalorian on the tie fighter fighting him was just badass. And I loved how the tie fighter landed before! Just so many small details in this episode made it go from really good to great.

Not to ruffle any feathers, but this show felt like Star Wars to me more than the last 3 "episode" movies. I thought the last two episodes were really epic, and the opening of this was hysterical. Wasn't sure I would like the series but it was ultimately pretty terrific. It shows what having an actual ark to a movie can mean. Too bad they just sort of did the movies on the fly.
