Ok, nice to see Jack back and cool follow up to Resolution but there’s still a sense of gravity that’s missing from the whole thing.
Maybe if they would explain why the people of Earth keep forgetting what the Daleks look like they could use it as a big storyline, like somebody has been messing with everyone’s memories.

I’d be fine with Chibnail leaving also. And while they’re at it retcon this Timeless Child nonsense.

Yeah, put somebody else at the helm and give Jodie some better writing to sink her teeth into.

I'm actually cool with the idea that the Time Lords stole the ability to regenerate from someone, but having the Doctor be the Timeless Child is just a fucking horrible idea for two reasons:
One, it makes the Doctor "special" not by their actions and choices, but by birthright. For nearly six decades, the Doctor has been presented as a perfectly ordinary Time Lord whose wanderlust made him go off on his own and do good in the universe. Now, the Doctor is unique because they are the "Timeless Child."
Two, the producers can now pull heretofore unseen Doctors out of their asses right and left. This is something that can (and will) be abused by too many future writers. And, on top of that, Chibnall has basically retconned Doctor Who so that there are hundreds, if not thousands, or past Doctors out there, and it de-uniques the handful we should have.
This shit needs to be retconned now. ASAP, before Chibnall does any more damage.
