I might be out, too.
This doesn't seem like a sustainable concept for a continuing tv series. It's already getting kind of tedious.

Maybe it's because I'm not a science-fiction guy so this setting and situation is fresh material to me. It certainly has me interested to know what happens next. I find the characters interesting (I love the "stowaway" woman who keeps putting herself in charge, as well as the pony tailed astronaut).

I thought episode 2 was way stronger than the first. It had several laugh out loud moments for me, especially when they called out Hugh Laurie's ever-changing accent.

I guess I should just quit watching this show, but I suppose I like to rant. Besides not being that funny (IMO), what gets me are the science mistakes. And not just mistakes, but seemingly a denial that science even exists. The orbiting coffins being the latest example. It's hard to get something into orbit instead of shooting out into space or falling back to the surface. And they just accidentally do it. Several times. However, I did enjoy the bit about Laurie's accent.

Reaction to the credits appearing onscreen at the end of the episode: Wait, that's it?
Other than Gabe/Jared I find nothing entertaining about the show, and several things actually annoying. If I wasn't giving it the HBO benefit of the doubt I would be done. But another week like this past one and that's it.

I watched the first episode and thought it was unbearable, almost like something TBS would have done in 2002. Glad to hear most don't think it gets any better.

Seeing it sooner did not help. The first five minutes was the last five minutes I will watch. Terrible.

This is still on very shaky ground for me, but the last bit of ep3 will keep me hanging around for another episode or two at least.
Need less of Josh Gad (like eliminate him).

Judd, the obnoxious passenger "spokeswoman," the shrewish wife, the milquetoast husbands, the pointless earth staff, the obviously fake crew people, just so much to dislike. Then there's the lack of interesting show direction -- I mean, here's a bunch of people sitting around bitching and squabbling on an extended luxury cruise. How riveting. The season is nearly half over (only 5 episodes remaining). It would take something VERY dramatic to pull me back into this.

I think everyone else here has given up on this show, so no one will see this anyway.

I have been. I like it for its constant weirdness, and they go by pretty quickly.
But I HATE Josh Gad - he ruins everything.

I tapped out halfway through the second episode. Wanted to like it. Can't stand Gad or the pain in the ass passenger woman who is married to the guy who used to work at Dunder Mifflin.

Is this supposed to be a comedy? I finally laughed after 5 episodes around 20 minutes in the owner asks if the speech is like this all the way through or does it get better. His assistant says that was the best part but you threw it away. That made me briefly laugh. I really like Sci-Fi so I'll watch the remaining episodes but I doubt I'll watch a second season.

I'm still in. This show is Nuts. It's a British show with British humor. The Poly Marriage, the Orbiting Shit, the fighting couple, the old Astronaut played by dude who was Neelix on Voyager, etc.

"VFX!"
Hilarious episode. If you gave up previously, at least watch this episode (#8).

This should have been episode 2 or 3. It's far too little, far too late for me. I'll ride it out to the end of S1 but I doubt I'll be back for S2. Slogging thorough the last 6 snoozers for 15 minutes of payoff in episode 8 is a lot to ask of an audience. I like British humor, but this is not it. It feels more like hackey American network sitcom humor cheaply disguised as British humor. The jokes are obvious and not at all clever. I can't think of one laugh in 8 episodes. Even Zach Woods' character has fallen flat, and most of the others are simply detestable.

Unlike Bill I agree that this latest ep actually brought the funny, the guy giving folks the finger right before he is flash frozen well, y’all gotta admit that was funny.
My BIL works in the “VFX” industry which helped accentuate the humor in this episode. They certainly found a funny way to get rid of Josh Gad’s antagonist. I also love how the woman who kept spouting that it is all VFX did not bother to put that to the test by entering the airlock.
The show is very uneven but I like it well enough to continue watching.
