Any possibility of Season 8 being a full 23 episode order, and not another half-season?

Sure, it's possible, but it is way to early to know that now.

NBC may like having it just as a mid season show.

yeah, i was thinking when they hell is this debuting. i figured mid-season, but c'mon (those are usually for shows that were filmed, not so good and they burn the eps in the new year to see how they fly.)

this is not a mid-season replacement type show. i am rewatching older seasons and this is by far the silliest, funniest comedy to come out since 30 Rock. it is just great and it deserves a full order and such for many seasons to come if all seasons are like previous 5. if BBT can last 12 years and have full season orders there is no way in hell this one shouldn't.

I binged the entire series this summer and was kinda bummed when I ran out of episodes so I'm looking forward to this quite a bit.

No comments on the premiere(s) yet?

I liked the first episode more than the second (although it's always good to see Nicole Bilderback on screen again...too bad it look like a one-off). As always, Hitchcock and Scully bring the funny. "We're the weiner warriors!". Who else would know where all the NYC hot dog wagons are?

I think I would have liked to see a competent, respected new captain in place for more than just one episode. It would have been interesting to watch Holt react to the squad continue to respond positively to her over time, instead of cramming it all into a single episode. In the second ep, I enjoyed Vanessa Bayer as Holt's partner. That was a great pairing in my opinion. She might wear thin if they keep her around, but for an episode anyway I really liked it.

I liked the new captain and I wish they would have kept her around for a few episodes. Now I wonder who the new, new captain is going to be. Who would have thought that solving a case would hinge on food cart knowledge.

Great start to the season. First episode was a stronger but the second one still had its moments. Magic jacket Chuck was great.

I hope Foot Five Debbie makes a return. She was cracking me up. I loved when she just broke out her backstory. And getting to collect cones on her Birthday making her day was priceless.

Both episodes were good. I loved Jake's responses to how sad Debbie's life is. And Ray stating that he would have remembered if Debbie told him that she became a cop to go after her sister's killer.

Looks like both Charles and Ray have packed on some weight since last season.

Nice start to the new season. Plenty of great one-liners.

The cone gag was great, since I usually see some local officers on cone duty on my way home from work (near a minor league baseball park)

They drive the police truck slowly around the outside of parking lot and drop the cones. I was always think they hate that job haha

You certainly got your wish! And she'll be back again, too (no spoilers).

Nice acting by Stephanie Beatriz and Andre Braugher, especially when it got a little more serious.

I certainly didn't see that ending with Debbie coming!

The bar scene with Rosa and Holt was absolutely perfect.

I’m glad the competition lives on. Charles came up with some good concepts.

Sad to see Debbie go. Her life is so sad and she's always out of her element - which is really funny. Hitchcock and Scully are proud of their pathetic lives and gives a different kind of funny.

Debbie's related to Subway Jared. Kinda similar to Charles being related to Susan Boyle.

Debbie waiting for Jake to kiss her had me dying of laughter. The audio going silent was the cherry on top.

The show is still terrific but something is missing.

I think its Holt. This show works better with him as the Captain.

Just caught up with this. Man this season they are firing on all cylinders. To me it has been one of the best.
