Well it's not like Stephen Amell is ever going to win an Oscar, either. None of these shows are known for the great acting on them.

Lotz and Cassidy both seem really terrible at acting.
Cassidy has actually gotten a lot better over the years - she clearly first got a job because of the name recognition. Lotz became a fan favorite mostly for her excellent stunt work - she's possibly the only female lead in the Arrowverse that actually pulls off the combat scenes well without looking like an unathletic actress.

This latest episode actually impressed me a little. Much better than the first two episodes this season imo.

And the theories that
Spoiler:
the kids in the future get pulled to the present timeline
actually turned out to be true.

At least Lotz looks believable in her fight scenes, Cassidy got a little better over time, but not much.

Eh, episode was ok. Still trying too hard to setup the crossover. Obviously Thea and Talia will have a place in it as well. (Lexa Doig is still hot btw)

Better than episode 2.

Seems clear Diggle’s wife knows she’s supposed to die, or that it’s going to come out that she’s been working with the Monitor behind their backs.

The latest episode was the best of the season. But that doesn't say much. Kudos to Willa for showing up for one final bow.

There was some damn good stuff in this one. It felt like Amell and Holland were saying goodbye as much as their characters were. And better yet, no more flash forwards!

Arrow star Stephen Amell announced on Friday that Emily Bett Rickards will be on hand when the superherro drama wraps its eight-season run in early 2020.

^^^ Well, that's good she's coming back. It only makes sense.

It will be interesting to see how things play out now that their kid Mia is in 2019 as a 20-something. So what happens to her baby counterpart?

I wasn't sure whether to expect her back or not as originally she made it sound like she wasn't coming back, but I figured surely after it was announced to be the final season that she'd make some sort of appearance to close it out.

She'll be in the "nether-realm" or wherever Oliver is before he dies.

Yeah and hopefully the end to 2040? But interesting nonetheless.

It seemed like a goodbye, but the reports were that she was supposed to be recurring this year.

Between Thea, Talia, and that Thanatos woman, the makeup artists had a lot of facial scarring to work on.

Good episode, liked the ending.

Re: Arrow (CW) -- The 8th and Final Season -- Premieres 10/15/19

Anyone notice the sorta error in last night's episode?

Somehow Mia was able to call Connor on their cellphones from 20 years in the future while in 2019.

Mia was behaving kind of like an angsty brat. I did enjoy Oliver's interactions with William.

It's finally nice seeing Mia interact with Oliver.

I totally caught that too. I was like - hold on. Cell phones from 10 years ago likely aren’t working on modern networks. I seriously doubt 20 year future phones would work in the past.

This seemed like a weird episode. Maybe it’s a reverse Christmas Carol in retrospect, but seems odd to have an urgent case of the week for the blended team to deal with while all the time travel was happening.

Seems like next episode is Russia, but pretty sure they’ll have to move the plot along, because Crisis is supposed to arrive in I think 4 weeks.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that a vigilante group would have a box full of burner phones ready for use. The kids could have been given some.

Arrow officially wrapped production for good last week.

It'll be interesting to see how this show ages. It's basically been bad as long as it has been good. How many more episodes are left?

I really don’t understand why they spilt this through the holidays. It could have been a straight run to end out the year. Then come back in 2020 with a focus on remaining/new shows (plus non-Arrowverse content).

Seems like they’re going to lose a lot of momentum post Crisis.
