I don’t buy that Lena just goes all evil after her past actions

Such a quick and silly turn for Lena...
Dislike Supergirls new haircut.
Her reaction to pants was funny.
The political talk about how people don't register to vote at the beginning was terrible and just more of the same of why the show fell from grace so quickly to begin with.

The new haircut and costume make Melissa look much, much older. I wish they had made Lena's turn to the dark side more than just about Supergirl hiding her secret identity.

I did like the gag when Alex wonders how everyone changes costumes so quickly.

Oh wow, that was Julie Gonzalo from the TNT Dallas reboot as the new Catco boss. Haven't seen her since that show was cancelled. And she has a very distinctive scar between her eyebrows.

I don't know how many of you still watch Hawaii Five-O, but I just learned recently that Brainy is the brother of Meaghan Rath (Tani)

and she will guest star in season 5 as well.

Lena’s heal turn I think has been in the making for awhile now. It wasn’t just quick and out of nowhere.

The new suit looks fine. But I feel like they kind of ripped off the nano tech technology of Spide-Man’s suit that Tony Stark created.

Sooo Nano tech can't exist in DC? Also, Superman had a Nano suit so there's precedent.

The bangs aren’t a good look for her unless her hair is pulled back.
something looked different with her face besides the bangs.

Miss Rojas looked like she was wearing a Miss America sash on her outfit.

Whats her name turning heal because her friend didn’t tell her she is Supergirl.

so dumb.

I think it's a girl thing. Women are a lot more sensitive to small fibs and take it personally. I think this was the case with Lena.

I don't like the thing with Lena, should have left it with everything being okay because that would be more shocking than secretly angry. Been saying for a while now....TELL HER.

I forget, what happened to Lena to turn her into such a psychopath? Surely it's not just that Kara was keeping her secret identity, ya know, secret.

And, oh great, more episodes filled with Alex and her insecurities about her relationship. So interesting. What a treat.

Regarding Lena and Kara's secret. Even though I thought she should have told her sooner if other shows in the past had people act like this a LOT of supers would have a ton of angry possible friends turned villains.

Nope.

Lena has been having a rough time with people for a while in terms of being hurt, let down, loss, etc.... Kara has been saying for some time now that the main reason she hadn't told Lena yet is because of that, and that fact that she was afraid Lena would not take it well and feel betrayed...which is EXACTLY what Lena has done. Lex pushed her by telling her before Kara and rubbing it in her face BTW. Anyway, this turn has potentially been coming for some time now. It's here...

Thus. She’s dealt with betrayals from her own mother and brother, and then Eve betrayed her. Kara was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I wouldn't call withholding your superhero gig "betrayal". Kara has saved her life several times as Supergirl.

I wouldn’t call it a betrayal if it happened to me in real life, but we’re dealing with writers with a history of mediocre plots, poorly manufactured drama designed for the CW demographic, and character heel-turns without a well done build-up. It is what it is, you either have to roll with it or just give up on the show.
FWIW, I prefer good Lena to bad Lena. I always liked the juxtaposition between Lena/Kara’s relationship compared to to Lex/Superman, but I guess those days are over.

Are we going to have to watch a whole season of Lena trying to get revenge on Supergirl? That's already getting old.

Naming your kid "Malefic" is just asking for trouble. You might as well name him "Evil McEvilson."

Started watching show this season, so don't know much about characters and such. Like it, but Brainiac is fucking annoying.
