Huh... nobody cares about S23 of South Park?

I can't be the only one watching, right? I thought the opener was pretty funny and more Randy is always a good thing.

Surprised there's no official thread yet.

I watched it for sure. Never miss new SP.

Agree about Randy; some great laughs in this one.

I thought the premier was kind of sub-par for a Randy-centric episode (they are usually my favorites). Hopefully it picks up.

I was also surprised there was no thread and no thread for It's Always Sunny either.

I watched and enjoyed it. Not their best but enjoyable.

There is.

And if people are so "surprised" there isn't a thread for something...just create one... I don't get it?

South Park lost me two or three years ago after following it for over two decades since the crude pilot made the rounds on the net. I just don't think Matt and Trey put in the same energy and effort these days.

Randy the pot farmer and "Tegridy Farms" is a one-note joke that they're driving into the ground.

Exactly. It's worth maybe a couple episodes arc, not a multi-season arc. Time to move on.

Well, considering they do the SP video games and were working to Book of Mormon (which has a movie version in the works), they probably don't put the same energy into it.

The last couple seasons have been fantastic, IMO. Picked back up from the slump they were definitely in.

Although there were a few laughs, I thought the premier was a little flat.

Mexican Joker was brilliant. And these last two seasons have been great. The Tegridy Farms thing has run its course though.

Re: Huh... nobody cares about S23 of South Park?

I did get quite a few chuckles out of Cartman's greased pig routine (my mother has a cat that does that when it's time for her rabies shot) and "Tegridy Farms" was blessedly in the background.

Can't figure out if the episode was supposed to be pro-vaccination or anti-vaccination, though.

At first I thought they were making fun of anti-vaxxers, but at the end Cartman's mother ended up "artistic" after getting Cartman's shot, so I'm not sure what they were trying to say.

Randy killing Pooh with a garotte while Piglet watched is probably the funniest thing I've seen on screen in a long time. I can't remember the last time something on TV made me laugh that hard.

Greased pig Cartman was phenomenal.

The metal band was completely unexpected, yet totally awesome.

Ironic that an episode titled "Band in China" got South Park banned in China

Ha; I didn't notice it was a remake of that scene.

Re: Huh... nobody cares about S23 of South Park?

Does anyone here own the earlier seasons (s1-s10) on bluray? I was just wondering if the audio was uncensored or censored including the beeps.

Was there a new episode this week? My DVR didn't pick up anything.

There wasn't, likely due to the World Series being on.

I still laugh every time Randy shouts "SHELLY!"

Crazy episode, really enjoyed this one.

Apparently South Park's back catalog streaming rights are going to HBO MAX for $400 million.
