Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne star in Carnival Row, a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures. Feared by humans, they are forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective and a faerie rekindle a dangerous affair. The city’s uneasy peace collapses when a string of murders reveals a monster no one could imagine.

I imagine this will drop sometime Thursday night, which seems to be the case for most Amazon series.
Reviews are mixed.

I read there's a ton of sex, but nothing really happens.

I was looking up the series on "Instantwatcher.com " for a 4K link, and there was one for a "Test", and the episodes are available now. Unfortunately, I don't have time right now to check it out beyond the credits....

I watched the first episode...I want to give it another episodes before I decide whether to watch the series. So far its like True Blood meets From Hell.

I'm six episodes in and really liking it.
The story plays out kind of slowly, and I think it becomes more interesting as some secrets are revealed. Episode 3 is a flashback episode that fills in some of the blanks from the first two episodes, and it is what really hooked me.
Even so, I like that the show doesn't just spell everything out for the viewer. There's no expository narration that lays out the world for you. Many things regarding the history of the relationship between man and fae are not explicitly shown, and you have to kind of piece together what happened.
The lead actors are all good. I really like Cara Delavingne as Vignette, and Bloom plays the broken Philo with an appropriate weariness.
Aside from the main storyline (the murders), there are plenty of secondary plots developing that I'm sure will continue through to season 2.

I enjoyed this. Not perfect and the season is sort of standalone, but I think it is the type of show with the stage set can become much more compelling in Season 2.

Anybody know why Beacham and Guggenheim left the show? It's a bad sign when both the creator and show runner leave a show after the first year. It usually indicates studio interference and a drop in quality.

Yeah as dex14 pointed out, season 2 has finished filming. It's just a matter of when they'll get it done and start streaming. =) Still very much looking forward to it.
