Looking forward to it, but a little sad that it's coming to an end.

Ratings were pretty low, FX dug the show though and gave them season 3 to wrap it up.

They stated way back in season 1 that they planned the show as a 3 season thing.

I don't know what I just watched. I don't know if I want to watch again.

Can’t say I saw that ending coming.

Not really sure what to think of it.

I was expecting a closed loop type of ending, where their meddling in the past ends up causing the Shadow King to possess David. Wasn’t expecting a genuinely remorseful Farouk.

I’m happy with the ending. I’m never a fan of time stuff where everything that happens is erased, but I guess that’s not really the case here.

I was kind of hoping for an ending where David and Farouk battle 'ends the world' where they are the only two left on Earth, or the get removed from time and stuck together in the Astral plane for eternity... but i'm completely satisfied with what we got.

Bring on Noah Hawley's crazy astronaut movie, Fargo Season 4 and whatever else he's got for us.

Same. I was way too tired to be watching this last night and I'm not sure if I have it in me to sit through it all again.

After the credits they showed a button that said "press button to start again"

Thinking back, the only issue I might have going through the series again, is when did Farouk "grow" and learn he wasn't the same person. It's actually making me want to go back. It was in season 2 that he killed David's sister. I want to watch again to see the change, or if it kind of just happened.

I LOVED this show season 1. It didn't hold up and not thrilled with ending. Just that simple.

The finale felt like someone's new age therapy session.

I liked seasons 1 & 2 but this 3rd went downhill after the premiere.
It got to the point where I welcomed the show ending. It just dragged and slowly bled all the life out of it.

I still loved it, but I enjoy all the new age therapy stuff.

Re: Legion (S3E08) -- Series Finale -- "Chapter 27" -- 8/12/19

Finished the series today. The show had an amazing season 1, one of my favorite television seasons of the last 5 years or so...but seasons 2 and 3 were too weird and convoluted for their own good. I'm actually reminded of Mr. Robot, which also had an incredible season 1, then fell inlove with itself and was so weird and unnecessarily complicated the following season (fortunately for Mr. Robot, I thought season 3 was a near return to form).

I liked this series overall, David is a great character and I'm still madly inlove with Sidney. Probably won't revisit the show though.
