I watched this as it aired last night, The Challenge is definitely a show to DVR. It just seemed to go on and on. I will be watching on the next night from now on.

The U.S. team should think about putting CT in against someone he could likely beat. They could say they're doing it with the hope that he wins and then switches to the U.S. team.

I just watched the latest episode. I'm in shock. I can't believe Wes let Bear smoke him like that. I almost wonder if Wes threw it to go back home and run his business.

The last two episodes have been great in terms of entertainment. The US vs. UK format was pretty much a given from the last challenge, and it's been great so far. A few observations:


1. I like how Wes' interviews/confessionals made him think he was controlling the game, which wasn't at all true.

2. Bananas seems more like a passenger this season, but that changed a little this week and possibly next week with a guy elimination.

3. Loved the edit with Laurel thinking that she won, and then being in disbelief that she lost to Ninja. She couldn't even admit that she made a mistake, and Ninja missed the same branch placement.

4. Waiting for that scenario where Turbo or CT switches to the other side.

5. Even though the games started as two teams, wondering if they are going to merge like Survivor. Or if they do a "drop your buffs" scenario to switch things up if a team becomes too dominant.

Right?! So glad Ninja beat her, and it was in a way that was even more enjoyable than if she had just beat her down.

I remember Laurel being very competitive, but I don't recall her being this much of a seaward.

When Laurel first started on the challenges she wasn't very nice. I don't remember exactly what happened but Easy was trying to talk to her and she was just really mean to him. Then she was nice for a few seasons but now she's back to being a horrible person again. I normally like Bananas but I think he's given up on winning challenges and just wants to create drama.

Laurel can be a loyal friend, but she's never been "nice". The thing with Eric was him being a douchebag off camera earlier in the day, and Laurel took it to eleven. It wasn't really any different than what she did to Paula the next year except we got to see what Paula did to get Laurel to react.

I missed Laurel's first couple of seasons so I apparently missed that side of her. I had never really seen that side come out until now. She was one of my all time favorites, but she was getting insufferable this episode. I really enjoyed karma getting her back after she threw the challenge to get rid of people that weren't on her side. I can't wait to see how the rest of this season plays out now.

You would think by now that anyone who has ever watched shows like this and Survivor knows that throwing challenges rarely ever works out.

TJ should have called Laurel and Bananas on it. I was surprised he didn't say more about it since that kind of stuff used to piss him off.

Sorry if mentioned before or if this is old news... but did you guys know that on PLUTO TV they have a 24hr "Challenge" channel among the other Viacom MTV channels they added? I just discovered it a couple days ago.

I'm going to have to check that out. There's no way to watch older episode unless you buy them.
