Producer/star Ian Ziering reunites with his Sharknado director Anthony C. Ferrante to bring you ...

Zombie Tidal Wave.

Zombie Tidal Wave centers on Hunter Shaw (Ian Ziering) as he contends with an ocean-borne outbreak that threatens his otherwise peaceful seaside island community. This rogue, veteran sailor must lead a disparate group of locals in order to uncover the origins of the undead pandemic, while simultaneously fighting the rising horde of infected before it can reach the mainland.

Just when you think that SyFy has reached the very bottom of the barrel, you find that there's another barrel under that one.

I've watched several new trailers over the last couple of days, and this is by far the best one.

Big fan of Sharknados.
Hated to see 'em go, but this just might fill the hole in my summer Sharknados left.

Recording this for later. I hope it's every bit as awful as I expect it will be.

Bill, I think you will not be disappointed (in how bad it is). Of the two bad films I watched this weekend this one was the better of the two, the other being Sextuplets.

There is a stunning scene (I think it is well past the mid-point of the film) that takes place underwater and involves a bunch of bodies/zombies that I believe are floating to the surface. Seriously, the cinematography was beautiful.

I did not realize this film was directed by the same guy who helmed most (all?) of the Sharknado films, and it had an actual ending but I think it would be easy for Syfy to tee up a sequel if the ratings are halfway decent.

more entertaining than the past 5 seasons of TWD combined.

Watched it last night as a lark and I thought it delivered what was advertised. I never watched any of the Sharknado stuff but I assume it was all this sort of thing. And frankly that is just fine since it isn't pretending to be anything it is not unlike the past few seasons of TWD and the astonishingly bad FTWD.

I definitely don't mind waiting a while for the you-know-it's-coming sequel, but I will probably watch when it shows up. Can't ask for much more than that.
