Black Spot ("Zone Blanche", France, Netflix)

Not sure if on Netflix US, but I've been watching S1 on Netflix Canada and it's very good thriller/mystery/crime drama. And it's also funny. Hard to describe, sort of a mix between Twin Peaks and Fargo with horror elements. Well worth a watch. YouTube has S2 trailer but not S1. But I found it on Vimeo:

Villefranche is a small isolated town in the middle of a gigantic forest, a green labyrinth of thousands of square meters, that makes any phone call impossible. In this peculiar and unique place, there are unmapped areas, crimes, disappearances and other mysteries, and a homicide rate six times higher than the national average ... Besides that, everything is fine.

TV series 8 x 52 min
Directed by Thierry Poiraud et Julien Despaux

I watched the first 2 seasons. They were OK. It came and went from my mind. I finished season 2 probably a few weeks ago and don't even remember how it ended.
