Their Twitter account is starting to be active again after no posts in 6 months, so info is probably coming soon.
A summer premiere is likely.

They posted about Netflix's Geeked Week June 6-10, which is supposed to have "Sneak Peeks, Trailers, Cast Panels, and much more," so maybe a final trailer and date announcement then?

I don’t really know much about Sandman other than it’s pretty highly praised. My girlfriend has a handful of the trade paperbacks but I’ve only paged through them. Seems like it could be interesting.

Here's the Sandman panel from Netflix's Geeked Week, featuring Neil Gaiman (the man himself), Alan Heinberg (showrunner), Tom Sturridge (Sandman), Jenna Coleman (Joanna Constantine), Boyd Holbrook (Corinthian), Vanesu Samunyai (Rose Walker), and Vivienne Acheampong (Lucienne the Librarian). And some bonus Felicia Day because she's awesome and we all adore her.

Looks great. Lots of characters and lots of information. I think the androgynous angel woman was the same character (Gabriel?) that Tilda Swinton played in Constantine. It looks like she has the same suit as Tilda did in that movie.

Love Neil Gaiman's work. He's a standup guy- When Books of Magic was out I would write (yes, back when letter writing was a thing) him about it c/o DC comics and he would reply on some neat postcards from London. He sent me quite a few- I wish I had kept them.

Re: The Sandman TV series ordered by Netflix -- From EPs Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer

Gaiman was a very active user of the CompuServe Comics & Animation forum back in the late 80s to mid 90s, alongside Mark Waid, Kurt Busiek, Peter David, Richard and Wendy Pini, and a host of other comics pros (and even more fans, of course). They were all accessible and friendly provided you didn't come off as an entitled insistent fanboy (which there were a few of). For a comics fan, that place was lightning in a bottle where you could casually talk about episodes of the Simpsons with like half the Vertigo staff.

Re: The Sandman TV series ordered by Netflix -- From EPs Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer

I'm not familiar with The Sandman comic. But, the trailer did look really cool with some pretty cool special effects. I am surprised that this is a DC property on Netflix. Netflix must have paid DC a lot of money for the rights.

I will try to check it out if I'm not majorly backed up on other things. Problem is that Netflix will dump all 10 episodes and discussion for this will be dead in a matter of days.

Re: The Sandman TV series ordered by Netflix -- From EPs Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer

A couple of clips that cover scenes that should be familiar to book readers have been posted to Youtube...

I'm still not sure what to make of this. I'm not really feeling GC or KHB in these clips. Kind of surprised about GC; her Lucifer doesn't feel as threatening and imperious as he should, and comes off kind of like Dolores Umbridge. And Dream still looks weird with actual eyes.

Got some more images courtesy of IGN:

Dream feeding pigeons while he receives counsel from his older sister.

Dream faces off against the Lucifer Monrningstar, the Lord of Hell.

The Sandman suited up and ready to kick some ass.

The Dream King in a contemplative mood.

And, last but not least, the official Sandman twitter account gives us a glimpse of Lily Travers and Lenny Henry as Barbie and Martin Tenbones.

Re: The Sandman TV series ordered by Netflix -- From EPs Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer

I wonder if folks who are unfamiliar with the source material are looking at all of these trailers, clips, and images being released and wondering what the hell this thing is about...

All I can say that is that it is about a great many things. But it's also a single, focused storyline, but that isn't apparent until you near the end.

Re: The Sandman TV series ordered by Netflix -- From EPs Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer

The scenes look fine but I really have to let go of my love of the original comic, which I started reading in 1990 at the very start of Season of Mists. It's clouding my view of these scenes. There was always a (no-pun intended) dreamy and otherworldly quality to the series, even outside of the fantastical realms. My view of these scenes is heavily colored by the art of Mike Dringenberg and Sam Keith. It's hard to see them recreated in slick, clear, Netflix-ish High Definition.

Not a slam on anything I've seen. That's just the baggage I'm bringing.

I can't imagine Barbie and Martin Tenbones having more than a brief cameo this season.

It looks like we're getting both "Preludes & Nocturnes" and "The Doll's House" in this first series. That's two big storyline and 16 issues to cover in 10 episodes, hope that all works.

Gonna give this one a shot if reviews are decent. Needless to say, I'm not familiar with the source material
